Perfectly-good upgrade for an older system
A couple years ago I relocated the guts of a retired system up to our cabin, to replace the guts of an even older computer. This summer I decided to set about rebuilding the old system with these not-so-antiquated parts - and found the AGP video card on the old motherboard wouldn't fit the AGP slot on the not-so-old model. Needing something in a hurry and unwilling to travel to find it, I located this reasonably-priced selection on Amazon and, via Prime, had it two days later. Snapped it into place, let the old XP installation sort things out, loaded the drivers - and we were off to the races. I'm fairly certain it won't handle the most strenuous video-game play, but I don't play video games and couldn't care less. It's capable of displaying a movie on DVD at what amounts to a high-definition resolution - and an Excel spreadsheet looks fine too.I'd recommend this to anyone looking to squeeze a little more life out of an older system - especially if you've got a motherboard with onboard video that also has an un-used AGP slot. Scrap the onboard video and return the RAM it uses to the CPU, and get this video card with plenty of its own memory. You'll have a better, faster, system as a result.

Does the job for me!
I purchased this card because my old video card was an ATI Radeon but with only 256K RAM and I thought the PNY 6200 was what I needed to make my online experience faster. I didn't notice any significant difference and was getting frustrated watching TV shows as slide shows at 288p. Then after pondering for awhile, I realized that it wasn't my video card but actually my CPU (Intel Celeron with 400Mhz Front Side Bus and only 128K cache). I quickly came back to Amazon and found a seller with an Intel Pentium 4 CPU with 1G FSB and 512K cache. Man, what a difference that made. I decided to keep this video card in my computer as it was more compatible to to the upgraded CPU then my older ATI @ 256K Ram. The PNY 6200 Video card for my AGP slot was just what I needed. Streaming video and online movies are smooth and I am able to watch at a higher video rate (480p) compared to the 288p that I used to have to watch, which was very grainy.

Arrived on time, worked first try
This video adapter was for an old PC that I had moved out into the living room for web surfing from the couch, and when the video card died, I worried that it would be pretty difficult to find a replacement. I was thrilled that it was reasonably easy to identify what kind of card to get, find it on Amazon, and within a few days have the replacement installed and the system back online.I was also happy that I did not have to scour the web ten ways to find the drivers. The driver installed first try, too, and automatically detected the ideal screen resolution to drive my HDTV. It looks great now.

A great video graphics card for a very reasonable price
Our Dell computer was exhibiting signs of graphics problems so I purchased this graphics card based solely on price; It was extremely easy to install and the ibstructions were so easy that I had it up and running in about 15 minutes. Everything is running great now and the clarity and detail on the monitor is tweriffic. Very highly recommended!

Good GPU for doing video redering
I bought this card because it was just good enough for using with my video rendering program. It has a GPU so it speeds it up quite a bit. It also allows me to have two monitors which my default motherboard connector did not.For the price this works really well.

Better than expected - EZ to install
I bought this card to replace my older one because it had a noisy fan. Not only does the PNY AGP card not have fan onboard (therefore no noise), but the graphics work so well I felt like I had actually upgraded my monitor. Very crisp images, vibrant colors. And a snap to install. And the price can't be beat. I'm delighted with its performance.

WRONG SPECIFICATION from manufacturer !!
The official specification and the description on packing box outside is printed as " S-VIDEO OUTPUTS ".It is supposed to provide standard definition video signal (4-pin) for normal TV without high definition; and, this is what I need and want from this card.HOWEVER, it is UP -GRADED to a High Definition video output (7-pin) for HD TV;and, this is NOT I need for my old TV.Moreover, the HD output is not compact with s-video input devices, like my old TV.Other features do not test but installation is simple and the card is recognized by Window XP (SP3) directly (with 512 color and 800 X 600 resolution).
