I mean it's exactly what it says it is, have reordered multiple times and never any issues. Of course you gotta know what kind of wound to put it in and when. Also it can rub off easily depending on where the wound is. For example, I had a horse with a hock wound and when he'd lay down, get up roll etc it would rub away pretty easy so just make sure it dries.

My horse had a deep cut on fetlock. Because of location I couldn’t wrap it. This sealed it and protected against bugs and dirt. Also prevented proud flesh.

We keep this on hand for our horses. This was an excellent value for this size can.

I have ordered Alu-mend twice for my chickens. One Lavender Orpington Chicken kept getting picked on and eventually she had a bleeding cut. I cleaned and dried the wound and applied bacitracin then covered area with Alu-Mend, it worked perfectly and the silver color almost matched the feather colors. I've used on my Rhode Island Reds too, silver color stands out more but the chickens do not peck at the wound after Alu-Mend has been applied to wound/injury. I always have Alu-Mend in my chicken first aid kit, its a must.
