Samsung HW-M360/ZA 2.1 Channel 200 Watt Wireless Audio Soundbar (2017 Model)

This was for a friend who's got a small shop, like a 7/11, but smaller than your normal 7/11.Pros: * Very very easy to work with, all wireless and bluetooth. * Sounds really good, he uses it primarily for music, and we both love it. * Price is awesome. * The remote is cute and really useful.The only Drawback: * The stupid subwoofer works only with 120V 60Hz.. ?? what's the big idea behind this? The sound bar itself works from 100-240V.. this was really annoying to work with, but it's got nothing to do with the quality or anything.

So far, so good. I was hesitant at first to buy this, but while picture quality on new TV is exceptional, the SOUND quality leaves MUCH to be desired.My mom is elderly, with hearing issues, requiring a volume that was simply disrtorted from Tv budget speakers [which are usually always in rear, bounding sound waves off the walls etc. So I had NO CHOICE but to try SOMETHING to improve the sound quality and more directed. I settled on this only bc the TV is Samsung and was a price within reason. I am not tech savvy so I NEEDED something also what i refer to as 'idiot-proof' with simple hookup. And that it was. WIN, WIN. Sound is SOOOOO much better. In fact, the sound bar alone is so much improved by it alone, I dont even use the Subwoofer. For a little box it can SHAKE and Rock the entire house. I cant even imagine what the EXPENSIVE models sound like. Bc for the price....this is pretty awesome. Would I buy it again, for myself....ABSOLUTELY. how it will hold up, only time will tell. But after few months, running the TV practically 24hrs/day ...so far so good.

Initial review: Product arrived well packaged and was undamaged and very easy to set up. No issues with getting Bluetooth to connect. I used optical cable from TV to the speaker. Sound is clear and precise but not what I would call home theatre quaity at all, but that wasn't really expected at this price point. Enclosures seemed a bit cheap but they are solid with no rattles or weird vibrations at full volume. This will be a good system for my condo where room is at a premium and sound level requirements are no high. I was going to change anything it would be nice to have another optical input and a bit more volume. I will add that I am currently using this with an older Sony DLP TV so when I upgrade I may find sound and volume level to be improved.

Sound is amazing and for the price you can't beat it. Installation is easy and as soon as you plug the subwoofer in it auto connects to the bar, I run everything through my PS4 and only had to make a simple audio output change on the console to start enjoying high quality sound. One thing that is not stated in the description or pictures is that it actually has a small screen on the front of it to help you navigate and customize settings if needed. Its covered by the same black mesh as the soundbar and blends in very nicely while also being visible. Also included was mounts to place it on a wall if i chose to. Remote is handy and has an easy volume up/down button as well as one specifically for the subwoofer so you dont need to renavigate a menu to change the bass. I will be looking to add the extra speakers upgrade in the future.My only concern was the box it was in is an awkward 'L' shape that looked like it had some possible shipping/handling damage but everything was wrapped in foam so nothing was broken.

For the price you can’t really beat this. It works seamlessly with my Samsung TV and UHD blu ray player.It sounds fantastic and the bass is just enough. It can get pretty loud, I have it in an open basement and it is more than enough loud, I never even get close to cranking it all the way up.I use it for gaming and movies and it’s great for both.If you just want that extra boost and fullness in the audio in movies and games but don’t need a surround sound or a bone shaking woofer and deafinining speaker than this is perfect.It The different setting are great also. If you want to watch a movie late at night and not bother anyone select “clear” it’s meant to to push the voices to the front so you can understand them easier but I’ve found it also lets you listen to movies at a pretty good volume without having the action scenes too loud so you don’t disturb anyone.

Purchased to use with Samsung TV Mod# UN50MU6300 purchased in 2017. The TV is located in my bedroom. Connection to TV was easy. No problem with pairing the subwoofer to sound bar. Optical connection was made to TV. The time consuming step was getting the TV remote to control the sound bar. I had to go to Samsung's site support area to get instructions on how to enable the TV remote to control the volume of the sound bar. I'm unable to get much bass out of the sub woofer. I was expecting more. However, the bass is better than that of the TV speakers. I've not gotten any eardrum busting sound out this sound bar even when I've turned it up 100%. Glad I saved some money buying refurb unit because this is just a poor performing soundbar. Way over priced if you were buying new.

I was worried that Samsung wouldn't produce good quality speaker. They are a major electronics manufacturer, but are mostly known for screen quality and not sound systems. This speaker, however, did not disappoint.The sound is extremely clear and the bass is pretty good. At 50 volume set to standard mode, I can hear the sound from every room in the house (1600 SQ feet). In most cases we keep to volume level around 18-25% for comfortable a lisening and movie watching experience.The bass doesn't have that movie theatre rumble, but it definitely noticable and does make the house shake a bit. I just don't feel it in my chest like an IMAX theatre... Which I imagine suits most people since it's very rare you can house such a sound system without seriously disturbing your neighbors.It was easy to set up and looks fantastic! Would definitely recommend as it is the best in the sub 200$ range speaker catagory.
