Great Cookware
I purchased this set of cookware almost 3 years ago and have been very pleased with it. I have only used this cookware on an electric stove so far, hope to upgrade to gas this year. The weight and feel of all the pans are good. The skillet handles stay reasonably cool. It heats quickly and evenly making cooking easy. The finish is holding up very well, still bright and shiny, even though I wash it in the dishwasher with heated drying. I have used only silicone or wooden utensils, and the inner surfaces are like new. On the rare occasion I scorched or burnt food, the clean-up was easy without using a scouring pad. I would highly recommend this cookware.

Excellent pans - they look as good as they cook.
I selected these pans after way too much emoting compared with the two other makes of multi-clad pans (but never tempted by All Clad). Truth is, both these and the Duxtop I would expect would work great - but in the end, I purchased this product, and I'm very, very happy. As most of my life I had cooked on non-stick (Farberware professional Silverstone) pans, I was concerned about food sticking. I did my research (many good sites out there) and am glad to say - except for eggs, its just not a problem. I follow the rule to heat the pan some first before adding my oil, etc, don't worry about initial food sticking - it really DOES unstick mostly after it cooks a bit more... and have grown to enjoy making gravy and sauces with the little bits on the bottom. The pans do clean up perfectly with soap and a light-duty scrubbie - though you can save almost all your labor by letting some water sit in them for a few minutes, and everything comes off (I use a Lunatec dishtowel, also from Amazon). If you need extra help in special cases, either a baking soda paste or bartenders friend works fine.In return for this incremental trouble, you get to feel like a professional chef. The pans are works of art to behold, with a beautiful mirror finish, very thick and solid feeling, and, yes - the heat really DOES climb up the side compared with bottom heating pans. They are just beautiful to handle and use. The lids fit well, are heavy-duty and are well designed with a concave shape (sheds condensation down the sides) - I don't end up wishing they were glass. I expect these pans to last a lifetime. The one thing I don't use these for are eggs - my suggestion is that people getting this set also acquire one or two ceramic or non-stick pans to be used just for that purpose. They will serve you well, and with use just for eggs will probably last a good while. So far, my pan collection includes this set, an extra 2 qt. Multiclad sauce pan, and (because a local store was selling it too cheaply to resist) a 5.5 qt. MultiClad pro casserole, and an 8 inch and 10 inch non-stick saute pans. This seems to meet everything I have needed so far.I cook with induction, and the pans work great, and display very little "noise", although I don't have other pans to compare them with - not a factor either way. I could not be happier - and doubt that any other pan (AllClads included, which, yes, are wonderful pans too) would outperform or outlook. At the three month point, all pans are looking almost "like new", except where a) one or my daughters had used a metal fork for some reason, and b) where my other daughter used a stainless potato masher - each breaking the "perfection" in minor ways. And.. we now have a nice silicone-coated potato masher :-)

Perfect for induction cooking
I waited a while to leave a review on these to give my wife time to use them enough to decide how she likes them.We had just bought an induction top range, and needed compatible cookware. Most of what we had wouldn’t work, so I researched and found that Cuisinart makes quality cookware at an affordable price, so we purchased this set. My wife is very pleased, both with the induction top and the cookware. The cookware has a quality look and feel, it heats quickly and evenly, and cleans up well. This confirms what I always thought, Cuisinart is a name you can trust.

a month in and pretty satisfied, except for...
UPDATED 4 weeks after use and my initial review below.I am getting increasingly frustrated by the poor design, In fact, I would call it a serious design flaw. The issue is the handles on the pots are too thin, and you are not able to get a good grip as I have stated previously. But after many uses now, the issue is one of the handle design being too thin. The handle has a groove in the center, I assume to allow placement of a thumb, but the overall handle has little girth, and nearly impossible to grip when trying to tilt the pans when turning or emptying the contents onto a plate or into a bowl. I regret not being able to test these first in a retail store.Really wanted the Tramontina brand, ( but have read only get Made in Brazil. They were not able to ship the correct set, so I switched to Cuisinart. Overall set seems pretty good. Heat conductivity is good, and Cuisinart has a higher Temp rating for oven use (500 degrees) which is much better than Tramontina. I do have a Tramontina sauté pan and it has heavier walls and bottom, and different handles and "helper" shapes. My only real beef with the cuisinart is that the handles are hard to hold when turning pots, pouring, moving etc. . Especially transferring contents to another pot or strainer for pasta. The handles have slipped out of my potholders (silicone surface) a few times. The long fry pan handles are not the most comfortable to use, a bit too thin for getting a good grip ( I am a man, with med. hands) it may be different for a smaller person. They are a good value, and look good, exactly what I wanted in the aesthetic category. Lids stack all if you want to fit them into the pots upside-down. I was replacing an Analon Hard Anodized set, and this a real improvement in terms of heat conductivity/sensitity. Also very easy to clean
