They give you 3 months before changing, but I change them out ever 2 months due to having asthma. They perform better than the reusable filters.

I have been using these for three years now. They do a good job and keep my coil clean.

I ordered 3 different sizes of filters for three different locations and two of them arrived exactly as I had expected, matching the exact description on Amazon. Unfortunately, the ones that were the most crucial for me arrived with a slightly different sized filter. Though the description showed Nominal Size: 20 x 30 x 1, Actual Size: 19 3/4 x 29 3/4 x 3/4 (19.75 x 29.75 x 0.75) 
both arrived with a different label and measurement. Both times they were too small and labeled 
"20 x 30 x 1, Actual Size: 19 5/8 x 29 5/8 x 3/4".That 1/8" isn't huge but is definitely enough to keep from getting a perfect seal.Wouldn't it be great if there were standards of measurement that everyone followed? That a 20x30x1 filter actually measured 20"x30"x1" and fit a tray designed exactly for that. Of course, it would probably be nice of a 2x4 was actually 2"x4" after being planed, but now we're talking craziness.

Cleans just about everything from the air. Easy install.would recommend on the first change due it sooner than required, since the first filler change has picked up everything that your previous filter did not

These filters arrived in a plain box with no Nordic or other branding. The filters inside were also unbranded and contained only a code numbers and no MERV rating or other discernible information. The filter material looks identical to the MERV 10 filters they are replacing.I then sent an email to the seller asking what numbers I would see if these filters were MERV 12 as ordered. The seller responded with boilerplate that their filters are top quality but would not provide the number requested. I will use these filters but will not order more or recommend them to others until they can provide reasonable assurance of specifications.

I have asthma due to indoor allergens. Mainly cat allergy that has gotten worse over the years. I recently moved and the cats have their own room now with it's own air purifier as well and spend minimal time outside of that room , and i dont go there, so my symptoms should have improved, but no they got worse! ... it took me a while and i did a few things to try and remedy having to take so much extra medication to combat the breathing symptoms which never fully went away!! I replaced the a/c filter every 20 to 30 days with a merv8 of another brand since moving here and bought 2 more air purifiers. I was vacuming and cleaning like mad but it wasnt until putiing in the nordic pure filter that i finally got some relief! I really thought i was dying. My symptoms were even carrying over into my work and i couldnt figure out why. Every little thing was setting it off until now! I am so happy i cried.
