DIA-GLO (Diaglo), DARK GRANITE 1QT

I had a small nick/chip in the front edge of my granite counter top. It was deep enough that it had the rough unfinished appearance, but too small and shallow to fill with epoxy compound. I was unsure about purchasing this product because it is advertised as a floor restoration system, but I figured granite is granite no matter where it is. I am glad that I bought it now. I am not a professional granite fabricator, but have a lot of experience with home repairs.Using a very hard, felt, bullet-shaped buffing disc on a Dremel tool, I was able to apply this compound directly on the chipped area. After about 3 hours of buffing time, the area no longer looks like a chip and now has a polished appearance. Although the degree of shine does not match the original polished surface, it looks a lot better. People who did not know the chip was there will not notice anything at all now. Glad I bought this product!

As marble professionals this product helps make the finish that much better as needed.

This Product does not stand up to its claims, as I, am a professional finisher of all types of surfaces including Automotive, it was tested 10 times on a granite and Marble surfaces on the same spots with very little if any change, but did work on Automotive finishes pretty good!

Wanted to bring the shine back to our granite bathroom floors so thought I would try this. Used it with an orbital machine and followed the directions exactly. Here's what I got for my hard work. No difference in the way the floors look, a mess from the slurry, and less money in my pocket. It did not perform as advertised. No where near it.

Was just looking to order this from amazon and noticed a few reviews. I use this exact product almost daily, and as a granite fabricator, I just want to set the record straight. Diaglow powders are used in every granite countertop company the world over. This is what is used by experienced craftsmen to surface polish on counters, floors, walls, blocks, veneers.. etc. It is not a polish itself, but rather an extremely fine abrasive. It's normally used with a felt polishing pad.
