This isn’t the weaning formula but I eventually did use it and baby boy was so healthy and double in size!

These kitten formula is amazing! My little furball was struggling to gain weight and seemed so hungry all the time, but after switching to this formula, I noticed a huge difference. The ingredients are top notch and wholesome, and the formula is easy to prepare. My kitten loves the taste, and I love that they're thriving and growing strong. Life saving product. Found 5 day old kittens after their mother was killed. Had so many worries dealing with these babies being so young. I did a lot of research about a good quality replacement milk and it always came back to this brand. They loved it and grew fast and strong. No problems with this formula. Each container was fresh. Smelled so good! When I had to reorder Amazon offered overnight delivery. Many times if I ordered in the morning it was on my porch by early evening. If I forgot to order on time, they would deliver between 4am to 7am. Really something to wake-up in the morning and have these supplements, that were so important for these babies, waiting right at the door. It’s deliveries like this that really make Amazon shine.

Excellent product! We fed a newborn kitten with an eye dropper and kitten bottle and the newborn version of this formula. He has graduated to this formula and is doing well.

It's been years since I had kittens in the house and the last time it was a foster litter who was still being cared for by the mother so I didn't have to worry about formulas and weaning. Luckily I did remember the KMR brand and decided to try this second stage weaning formula for little Tony, who I rescued on my property a few weeks ago. About a week after taking him in I could tell from his appetite that he was ready for more than just milk-type formula. This is a powdered formula that you mix yourself with plain water(I use filtered) and contains milk, beef, rice flour and obviously lots of nutrients.On the plus side this is an ideal transitional food, a perfect "toddler cereal" that is more filling than plain formula. My kitten took to it immediately and because it is more filling the frequency of feedings can be stepped down.On the negative side, it does require some careful mixing. Better to first add just a tiny bit of water to make a paste, then more water to thin it. Otherwise you get bubbles of powder that don't mix in very well. And more importantly, one of the ingredients is animal fat that has been preserved with BHA and BHT. I'm a little ashamed to say I did not completely read the ingredients upfront and only discovered this when I was nearly through with the first canister. These are preservatives that I have avoided like the plague with my pets for years because they are considered potential carcinogens. I'm surprised to see them being used in baby (animal) food and for that reason will be transitioning out of this cereal as soon as possible into regular wet kitten food. Here's hoping KMR will find another way to include this ingredient using safer preservatives or perhaps just discontinue it all together.

The only thing I didn't like about this was the picture LOL this is a great value for your money the color to it is almost a tint of formula for a baby that's what it looks like but it is the best breast milk replacement for a kitten if a cat isn't feeding your kittens as much it's very easy to use you can control the thickness of it although you don't want it too thick cuz you don't want to upset their stomach they love the taste and they function well they run around and play they're very healthy kittens and I say it's due to the kmr replacement I had to feed my kittens by a bottle they are now 8 weeks old running around and getting around well I can usually last five kittens for a week so it is a great value for your money very fast shipping highly recommended
