Nintendo Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (European Version)

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for Nintendo Switch is a fun and exciting racing game that is loved by gamers of all ages. It offers a wide range of characters, tracks, and game modes that make it a thrilling and engaging experience for both solo and multiplayer gameplay.

Must have been 30+ yrs since I first played it. Even more fun now.

Great fun! Even better if you have a big screen and play with three friends! Every once in a while, the game does go dark for about 2-3 seconds. Unsure if it's the game itself or my Switch.

Is there a game more classic than Mario Kart? I think not. Mario Kart is up there with legendary games like Legend of Zelda, Final Fantasy, the Super Smash Brothers series... The list can go on. However, while this particular entry in the series is fun, I can't say I enjoyed it as much as its predecessors such as Mario Kart Double Dash!! and Mario Kart Wii. (In fact, the last Mario Kart game that I played was Mario Kart Wii.) The biggest problem with this game is that everything is already unlocked. Now, I know this is technically a re-release of Mario Kart 8, and I'm sure the creators needed to make the decision of keeping everything unlocked or locked upon release. As a girl who respects going through the motions of beating every level in order to get those special karts or characters, this game made me feel a little empty inside because I felt like I had nothing to accomplish.Don't get me wrong, this game is still fun. I enjoy the new paragliding mechanics and zero gravity mode. I also like that you can pick different parts of your car, to truly customize your experience. You can also choose a riding style, which is great for when my nieces play (they use the auto drive while I bust my butt getting those drifts). Another honest point - the older courses are the ones that are the most interesting. The newer courses, while absolutely beautiful, are not as fun as some of the others that we've seen in the past.If you're a new Nintendo Switch User and are craving your Mario Kart fix, this will settle your craving until the next entry comes out. Just keep in mind that everything is available right from the start. Call me petty, but that's the biggest flaw of this game.

I’ve been a Mario Kart player since the SNES and still have a soft spot for that game. While some of the MK iterations over the years have fallen short or been just plain weird, this one has the same fun factor as the original and is great. There are a bunch of tracks from previous MK games, as well as some neat ones like the one based on Excitebike from the old-school NES. The gameplay is, well, frustratingly awesome cartoon combat racing like it should be. It’s also nice that there are “helper” modes for smaller kids so they can race and actually have a chance vs older more experienced racers. It’s probably my favorite game for the Switch.

My son is 4 and we got this for him to learn with his dad. so far, so good. The child assist mode is very nice and allows him to keep up with the rest of the people playing pretty well. when hes playing directly on the switch the child mode kicks in a lot more and hes able to place in the top 5 or so for most races in the 50cc class. definitely a good investment. i'm not normally one for video games, but this one he only likes to play with the family, so it gives us something to do when we are all over shoots and ladders!

Havia comprado o Sonic Team Racing na promoção por 20 doláres, puro arrependimento, não se engane com cópias baratas, tive o Mario Kart 8 pro WiiU e achei que depois de migrar pro Switch valeria a pena tentar variar, não vale. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe é o melhor kart racer já feito, vem co conteúdo adcional à versão do WiiU e resgata o modo batalha das antigas, estilo SNES e N64, estava deixando de lado mas valeu a pena revisitar todas as pista no 150 cc e agora tentandoo demoniaco modo 200 cc (desafio que nunca vi em nenhum jogo da série).
