TPA3116 2.1 Subwoofer Amplifier Board DC12-24V HiFi Digital Amplifier Board 50W + 50W + 100W

Excellent board and amp. One of the lower noise floors of any of these TPA3116 amps I've tried, on par with the SMSL SA60 which retails for over twice this amount and doesn't have two ICs or half this amp's features. Great versatility and expandability options. Doesn't have Bluetooth, but that's almost a pro in my book since almost every board I've tried with analog+Bluetooth suffers from the ground loop issue and excessive interference that just ends up marring both inputs. Plus, I plan on solderinga $10 BT4.2 module to the second analog input anyways. I'm running this at its full potential with two subs in parallel and some high sensitivity full range drivers, and I have plenty of headroom. The sound is rich, crisp, lively, and very articulate. The price of entry for HiFi has never been cheaper, it's amazing you can buy a component this good for the same money as a tank of gas.

Great amplifier, shipped with everything as pictured, used it for my boombox project, 2 8ohm 5" midrange speakers for the left and right channel and an 8ohm 7" woofer for the bass, sounds great. There is no loud pops when turning on the amplifier or hiss when there is no audio, the built in crossover for the bass and highs is great and eliminates the use for an external Crossover, there is also a switch on the board to allow the left and right channels to be full range speakers instead of cutting off all low frequency only, using it depends on your application. I use a 18.5v 3.5A laptop power supply, I don't push this amp to its limits so for my application the power given to it is more than adequate and very loud. This board is a bit more pricey than other tpa3116 amp boards but I think the built in features is worth the extra cost...... this is my first experience with these class d amplifier boards and I am impressed..... I may be buying another tpa3116 for another project soon

I am not sure if these other reviews were forged or what but this amp is a piece of junk. It is so gutless, tinny and distorted that it is unusable for even a basic amp. I paired this with nice kicker speakers and sub and it sounded really bad. I connected the speakers to another amp I had and they rocked. Do not buy this if you enjoy good sounding music and a good volume.

I bought this to see if it was any better than a DROK 2.1 board I bought which has a bass/LR/Volume set of knobs. I was hoping with the added filtering of this KNACRO board I could maybe get a little more customization in the output of certain music. I like that you can not only vary the volume of the LR channels independent of the bass channel, but the treble on the LR channels as well. Only downside is I don't like the bass filtering at all compared to the DROK board. Hard to really tell the frequency range there but all the way up I can start to hear faint vocals in the subs and all the way down it's more just punch than anything. Via test music no matter how I vary that filtering it seems like it's puttering a little. I'd normally attribute that to the woofers themselves maybe clipping or something but that's not the case. It just doesn't sound like clean bass to me. If I could get the bass of the DROK board onto this one it would be great. In the end I prefer the DROK because there's just less knobs and the extra knobs on this KNACRO board don't seem to give me much of a pleasing adjustment in comparison. On the plus side it's a very nicely made board, no pops or hiss that I can hear, the volume knob clicks on/off, and if you can get your subs sounding great unlike me then this is an awesome amplifier. Due to the other good reviews I think maybe I'm just missing something or it's an isolated case of the sub channel being funky with my board.edit - after playing around some more with it I was able to find good sounding bass levels. Anything boosted may need to be cranked down a little on the sub amp.

It's a nice little amp for DIY custom projects. I use it for one-piece self-powered speaker boxes. The built-in subwoofer low-pass is a great to avoid having to add passive crossover components to do that. Because I used this in a singular box, I didn't use the two channels as left and right, but highs and mids, each of those getting an appropriate high or low pass crossover circuit between the amp and speakers. I also didn't need a high-pass on the channel for the mids, since the amp has a little switch to limit that as well (doesn't seem to be adjustable frequency, but that's ok).The multiple inputs is nice. I hooked up the output of a bluetooth receiver to one, and panel-mount RCA and headphone jack inputs combined to the other. The amp helpfully provides 5V power output you can tap into to run to your bluetooth device. (if connecting another input board like this, ground both boards to a common point, like a metal chassis, or the front panel, to avoid possible noise and ground loops).My only complaint is that the output terminals to attach the wires going to the speakers are a little undersized. I would normally run 16 gauge, maybe even 14, to a speaker getting 100w. It's not easy to get a 16 to fit into the terminal opening. Terminating the wire into a pin connector of some type would be one solution to this, just a little extra work.

Kind of noisy even with a proper switching power supply, although you won't notice at normal music listening levels. Also the large capacitor isn't nichicon as pictured, but a generic Chinese brand. I bought this over another one for the nichicon, so that's kinda disappointing.
