I did not struggle in and out of the car while carry a sleeping child up 2 flights of steps. I dont even hesitate to carry in restaurants. I do leave in car running errands and carry my SKIP HOP changing clutch.I wish it had optional snap click backstraps, more colors that built is known for and stayed $29Overall, great product! I also purchased the BUILT lunch tote for the children snacks & extra bottle of milk or juice boxes and my water/snacks. I like this bag a lot. I have a bit of a bag fetish (understanding I have a problem is the first step :) and this one is super. Don't have one young enough for diapers but would have loved to have this one when I did. We do lots of sport and travel and this is so handy. It is not enormous but holds lots. You may have to move some stuff around to get to what you need but there are lots of handy pockets and lots of stretchy room for water bottles, bottles, neat little places to clip keys or pacifiers and it SITS UP which I love. Combination of neoprene and mesh interior pockets. Hard to find a bag with structure. The inside is bright berry pink which makes finding stuff easy (black inside bags are impossible to locate your crap in them). I yanked the clip on long strap and will use it only if we're walking a lot (zoo, etc.). The other handle is stretchy neoprene which I can sling over my shoulder and even if it's loaded down it doesn't cut into your shoulder and is surprisingly easy to tote around.I have had LOTS of Built NY bags and products and almost without exception love them. They are sturdy, well made and washable and don't take up much room when not in use. They do tend to be wide open spaces inside that things will roll around in and this bag solves that problem with so many stitched pockets. Oh - also, that front flap pocket is the best for phones, etc. You could even fit a small purse in it and you can rip open the velcro and access stuff one-handed while it's on your shoulder which would be great for people holding a baby in the other. If zipped, can't see the pink inside so could be fine for dudes to carry but not "manly".It will smell a little but that's just neoprene. Supposedly non-toxic. Sit it outside for a day or two in the sun and it will help. Hope you enjoy - watch the price, it usually fluctuates. I feel it's a bargain for the quality which should last years. I paid about 3 x 10 + 4.

Not exactly what I was hoping for.It's quite stiff. I'm hoping with use it will soften up and provide a bit more "stretch" more like their lunch bags. As it is, it's narrow only wide enough inside to accomidate stacked size 3 diapers. Hard to pack the pockets provided on each wall because those take from your "free space". Does not hold all I like to pack. I'm the type that likes everything organized precisely and I pack for all the what ifs, maybes and experience has thought me.It's has some good points that I really like.It's sturdy. It is easy to wipe clean and is very light weight. It's comfy on the shoulder even packed to its fullest. Love the bright inside color. NOT white or lime green! Lol but I great red, makes things really stand out so you can find them in the depths of this deep narrow bag. The shoulder strap comes off and the connectors tuck right into your bag. They look like they would not hold up, but that's deceiving, they are tough and sturdy. The zipper zips/unzips from either side and I love the comfort of the zipper pulls. And it's so easy to work the zipper, smooth and sturdy. Color/pattern is very pleasant.Mainly they could have done better to make it wider and add more pockets.

After couple of misses with diper bags I finally found the one. You can be well organized with this bag and always find everything quickly. The neoprene straps are very comfortable to wear over your shoulder.

Beautiful, but a little bit narrow inside.
