Yes, it DOES work....make sure You read the instructions.
I gotta say, I didn't think it would work for my situation. We have a chandelier with the almost flame shaped bulbs. The chandelier is in our two story foyer, over the floor, out away from the stairs and landing. I thought I was going to have to get scaffolding to change bulbs (I used scaffolding to install the chandelier), but I didn't need to thanks to the "Chandelier Swan".I removed 8 and installed 6 bulbs, and the "Chandelier Swan" worked as advertised. Now:1) You HAVE to read the instructions. If you don't, it won't work.2) You HAVE to follow the instructions. If you don't, it won't work.3) You must be gentle and patient, especially until you get the hang of it.4) Line up the head of the unit with the tip of the bulb and push and twist the tool until it goes over and onto the bulb. Be gentle, and keep the tool head as in-line with the bulb as possible. This way you will prevent overloading the small clips. Also, if the tool is not very well aligned, you'll make your chandelier rotate and that is all kinds of frustrating.A note about the clips/tabs that "grab" the bulb. They don't grab as much as they "hold" the bulb in place with friction. Even the company says to be gentle with the tabs. They ALSO OFFER to replace tabs that are bent/distorted. That is nice to see. They, and we all, must realize the tabs were made flexible to facilitate pushing the tool head onto the bulb. If the tabs were too strong, the flex part of the tool might bend, and that would be frustrating. I think the tabs hold the bulb in place while the inner socket of the tool provides side force when you push the bulb all the way in.Recommendations: If you have strings of reflective crystal like a lot of chandeliers do, install the tabs only on the front/socket end of the tool Don't install tabs in the rear of the unit (for storage per the instructions), because the clips will get hung up on the crystal strings.I'm glad I took the chance and bought the "Chandelier Swan".

Actually works!
There were only a few reviews on this when I bought it, but I gave it a shot instead of renting and climbing up a 14’ ladder. This was definitely worth it. Much safer that a big ladder and my light fixture requires you to come nearly straight up from the bottom. Although this did not work directly below the bulb I didn’t need much of an angle to get it work. It took a while to change 16 bulbs but it worked!

This product is the absolute worst!
This is one of the worst products I’ve ever bought on Amazon. A tool for changing lights in a chandelier should hold candelabra bulbs. This tool comes with two different sets of (very flimsy) tabs. One for larger candelabra bulbs and one for smaller “non led” bulbs. Neither one will hold either size candelabra bulb I was using in this case. The first set of tabs for the “led” bulbs wouldn’t even make contact with the surface of the original led bulb when centered. The set for smaller led would grip them but so lightly I had to hold the attached pole at an angle just to get it to budge. it took me a good five minutes just to get that first bulb out. That was the best part of the experience. This “tool” cost me two Philips WiZ bulbs (and they’re not cheap light bulbs). The first bulb I thought was maybe my fault after I lightly bumped it against the chandelier. The second one fell out while gently being placed in the socket. Neither set of tabs would hold the bulbs securely. I ended up having to get someone out to the house with a huge folding ladder to change all the other bulbs. The whole reason I bought this was so I wouldn’t have to pay someone just to change some freaking light bulbs.

Fantastic product and outstanding customer service
I purchased this in an attempt to avoid renting a very tall ladder or scaffolding to replace lightbulbs in our 2nd story foyer light. I watched their videos and read some reviews here and decided to give it a shot. When I received it from Amazon one of the black tabs was broken off in the bag. I reached out to the email address included and received a reply within an hour from them promising replacements were sent with a tracking number. These were received two days later.I suspected it was going to be harder than it was to use. This was based on other reviews I read here. And I suppose depending on your different light fixture designs it could be. But in my case it was surprisingly easier than I expected. And also a great value considering the costs (and risks) associated for other methods of completing the job.

How to make it work better
I had difficulty with the tabs not gripping the bulbs to be removed. The tabs do not provide sufficient friction and pressure on the bulbs for easy removal. I placed felt furniture pads onto the tabs as shown in the picture. The bulbs were then all removed very easily, and the new bulbs were also placed very easily, all from the second floor landing, with a 14 ft high chandelier. Great innovative product! Hope this helps those having similar issues. Perhaps the manufacturer will add the felt pads to the kit.

Not that easy to use.
It might work on fairly low ceiling chandeliers or light bulbs but over fifteen high bulbs the grip is minimal, therefore it is almost useless, for my purpose it was not helpful at all and I just needed it to change some high light bulbs.

Didn't work for me... just spins
I really wanted to like this but no luck. I suspect that my issue might be with the light layer of construction dust on the bulbs as I'm changing them in a new construction home. I'm able to fit the tines over the bulb, but after spinning, I'm not able to get a grip. The tines do pull up a bit of dust so I'll have to modify this in a way to either grab more of the bulb or scrape the dust off. It does feel a little light and I'm concerned that I'll break it. I'd like to see larger paddles on the tines and maybe rubber or silicone pads on each to help grip.
