A Court of Frost and Starlight
S**A
I need more SJM but this one would do until then.
While I'm completely aware that this is a novella that has made SJM fans wrench their hair out, I actually quite liked the book. We got to see so much more than war or battles. It's like a bridge between the next novel and the 3rd instalment so I don't really mind the length or the depth of the novel.

I just fell more in love with every character
I have been waiting for months for the release of this book!!And I just finished it in a single sitting!!This book deserves all the stars!! This is more of an extended epilogue.. About what happens after the war with Hybern..The previous books deal with the plot, twists and war.. However this one deals with the characters.. The repercussion of war on each of them, the way it has affected them..I just fell more in love with every character.. A lot more with Feyre and Rhysand..There were parts that made me understand the pain and feel so bad and there were other parts where i had happy tears!!5 STARS!!

A Beautiful Companion
A Court of Frost and Starlight is a beautiful companion to the series ACOTR. This is the fourth book in the series. As I entered the dynasty of Feyre, Rhysand, Cassian, Azrael, Mor, Amreen I was immediately gliding through the aftermath of the war they had won in the previous book. Their world seemed to be recuperating from lives loss, destruction, grief, guilt rebuilding. While the last book was action packed full of dramatic twists, this one was lighter with more cheerful undertones. Most of the characters discover a newer version of themselves after the war. As they try to suppress the horrors of war and struggle to live a normal life. As a reader, it was heart warming to get a peak into their normal life, while they walk the streets of Velaris and celebrate Solistice. My favourite part of this book was definitely that tiny scene between Nesta and Cassian. Ms.Maas skillfully teases the reader with a tiny droplet of their chemistry, yearning and unconscious/growing love. She leaves it dangling infront of the reader, compelling them to dive into the last book of this series. It is best that this should be read immediately after finishing the third book and not after a long gap. I say this because I made this mistake and read it almost a year after I finished the earlier books in this series. I felt I lost the connection slightly with the characters. The amount I was invested in them earlier was not the same after a year. However, it was a light romantic enjoyable companion to this explosive and compelling series. I can't wait to read the last book of this series.

It's like, the peace before storm
It's not action-packed if readers are expecting it to be. It's like, the peace before storm, perfect as a bridge between the series about to come. It was a good read, and amazing from charectar development, point of view.
