Great tie-backs, elegant look, easy to install because the threaded knob thing comes off so you can reach the screws (provided) and the anchors ( also provided).

I needed tiebacks for my recently installed curtains our our bay house. These were super easy to install, have extra hardware, and they look great - as good or better than expected based on listing. Someone in a review mentioned having a hard time with install because the screw locations are directly behind the decorative finial. I hope everyone knows the finials screw off and back on again quite easily, so hopefully keep that in mind if you're using a power drill/screw driver. I used a power drill 1/4" but for making the holes, used the anchors that came with the set, and screwed in manually with a ratcheting screwdriver. The whole effort for both guest rooms took less than 30 min, was a 1-woman job.

I have a neighbor who admitted she likes to walk around at night and look in people's houses through their windows/patio doors. I would close the blinds but the way they were installed you could still see into the house on the side to the blinds. Because it's a rental I didn't want to go to a lot of expense installing curtains that went completely over the sliding door blinds. What could I do? Then I saw these! I had some long shear curtains that I wasn't using so I used these as short, curved curtain rods on the sides. Now my nosy neighbor can't peek into my house! Looks nice, problem solved and it's only 4 small screw holes that'll be easy to cover when I move out. I won't lose my deposit and I won't go to jail for punching my neighbor. They were incredibly easy to install; took maybe 10 minutes total.

Love the look but I have to take a star off for the installation struggle! Used the recommended drill bit for the plastic anchors, and the screws that came with. Anchors refused to split. As if the holes were too big. Had to jam toothpicks in there and then screw to get the anchors to hold on. Even then they’re still not super secure. It took WAY longer than it should have! I’ve never had a problem with anchors before. Makes me regret even using them. Just a fair warning!!

Had I needed to, I would've paid much more for the right curtain and drapery holdbacks. But these were the perfect solution at any price. Tastefully elegant in their simplicity and economical in their footprint, their espresso dark bronze finish integrates seamlessly with the original oil-rubbed bronze fixtures of our 1911 craftsman bungalow -- yet they're clearly versatile enough for most any era of home. Idiot-proof to install (matched screws are included), the fact they don't protrude too far from the wall keeps people from scraping against them when walking by. I have a small window in a spare room that is used as a playroom/bedroom for my grandkids. I had purchased some light blocking curtains so I can darken the room if any of them were to take a nap during the day. However, I didn't want anything too expensive or gaudy but instead was looking for simplicity. I saw these on Amazon in the color I needed as well as a price that I couldn't turn down. I received them within 1 day after ordering and had no problems in installing other than the screws that came with were too long so I used extras I had around, painted them black with a Sharpie pen, and was able to complete my project in about 15 minutes. These are made of metal and appear to be quite sturdy. They are a hollow tubular body so if you are looking to tie back a heavy and long drapery, I would suggest looking into a solid metal frame. For what I needed, these are perfect!

Just got and installed these. Tieback itself seems sturdy. But the gage of the anchor screws is too small. The first one I put in wouldn't tighten. I used a hand screw driver and gently tightened to get it snug but the screw just spun. The remaining three I didn't even try to tighten so the tiebacks aren't held tight against the wall; it's easy move them so they're cockeyed. I suspect the kids who play in the room will rip them off the walls in short order. I'd put in better anchors but of course the different screw colors would make it look like a hack job. I'd have given these five stars if Amazon had spent a couple cents more and provided good anchors.
