HiBAR Bar Shampoo and Conditioner Sample Variety Pack, Sulfate-Free, All Natural Hair Product, Zero Waste, Color Safe 3 Shampoos, 3 Conditioners

I purchased the sample pack to try these bars before committing them to replace the extra liquids on my family of 5's 7 night cruise. I have wavy 2b hair, medium density, and on the medium to high porosity side. I used the green Maintain shampoo on my root area. It lathers up really nicely. I used the blue Moisturize conditioner on my mids to ends and detangle my hair in the shower. My roots are naturally oily and my mids to ends are dry. Only using these products, my hair turned out fine. My roots were not oily for 1.5 days which is my usual amount of time when using a good oily hair product. My ends were not dry and crunchy. I was scared blue wasn't going to work as well as it did. It surprised me.I am comparing this to my normal routine of Biolage Cooling Mint Scalp Sync Shampoo and Tresemme Rich Moisture Conditioner. I also normally add in Olaplex 6 and AG Hair Fast Food to my mids to ends. I think with this bar product, I still would add in my after shower routine due to my hair type. Overall, this is a great alternative to the "liquids". I will probably switch to bars after my normal liquids run out as this method will save me money in the long run.I have used these a couple times and you cannot tell. The bars have the same shape and the "S" stamp is still clearly visible. Something to note, the blue conditioner's ingredients are mainly different types of coconut oil and neither have a scent.Personal note: I honestly was surprised and had zero faith in these products. I thought this was just a bunch of woo woo. But, good news, I have not converted to crystals or van life yet. There is actually something to this madness.

I would give this a 4.5 star 🌟 This product is pretty cool! I have been looking for small travel size shampoo and condition bars and this is just perfect! I've been trying to downsize while traveling and also wanting to avoid the TSA quart size bag liquid rule. The shampoo lathers so well! I was so surprised it foamed that well. To me, I am not clean unless I see soap bubbles 😂. The conditioner was a little hard to administer to my hair. I found it easier to rub on my hand and then put on the ends of my hair. The second picture is after one use of the shampoo bar. I have extremely thick hair and to section my hair to rub the bar directly on the base of my hair. These would be good for 1-2 week trip depending on how often you wash your hair. I try to wash mine 1-2 times a week so I might even be able to get 3 weeks out of this tiny, but mighty bar. (I do supplement with dry shampoo if I only wash my hair once a week). I also added the little travel bag the company sells for this product and it would fit both perfectly with room to spare for a little body wash bar (or a section of one). I highly recommend this product!

I have thick, coarse, curly, dry hair. I need moisture, frizz and curl control as well as a detangler. Normally I have lots of hair in my shower after washing not to mention the tangles. I read all the reviews before trying this. Was disappointed that some said it didn't last or lather.I just wanted something to take on my vacation for two weeks. TSA has the liquid restrictions and I was going to have to check a bag just to take enough conditioner/hair products for two weeks.My problem has been solved. I now have a shampoo and conditioner [ as well as a leave in bar). I tried this to be certain of the results before packing. This has been a blessing. No more tangles, my curls now behave, my hair is soft and smells great but not over powering. I even used the blow dryer to speed up the drying process. I never did this before unless I would flat iron just because I would look like einstein before the flat iron... even with product!Now I have the hair I wanted. The shampoo lathers well. Just wet your hair and the bar and lather up!The conditioner works great. I usually use alot of conditioner just to get through my tangles. With this conditioner I just rub this bar over the front and back of my wet hair after shampooing. When done I rub a little in my palms to get a very thin/light coating then finger comb it through my hair. I have a dry scalp so I make certain tu use some on my scalp, shower then rinse.I use the leave in conditioner the same way, but do not rinse.I use moisturizer shampoo and alternate the next shampoo session with a frizz control bar.Just twice a week and my hIr already feels and looks great compared to what it was.I bought some for my friends who needed the volume control instead of the moisture and frizz. Each one loves it and saw good results. One of them has difficulties holding bottles and washing her hair, but she said the bar was much easier for her hands to use.This is my new product! No more expensive shampoos and no more recycling bottles. I feel I am using less product than the bottles, so this is a fraction of what I was paying!The other savings is a plus as wel.. it goes right inside my personal item.. no more worrying about checking a bag just to get 2 weeks supply of hair product!!

I’ve tried a few brands of bar S/C but they always leave my hair feeling like straw. I received the full size version of this brand as a gift and I love it. I bought these for traveling which are perfect. I have long curly hair which I get bleached for highlights and dyed with bright red color, so I need S/C that are super hydrating. This brand definitely covers that. My hair is always soft and it smells nice, not overpowering. I can’t really tell whether it’s actually ‘color safe’ because my bright red dye ‘leaks’ with just water alone, however I haven’t really noticed a difference in how fast my hair fades.
