Perfect for my Mac mini M4 and 12 year-old apple cinema display
I have a 12 year-old Apple cinema display and needed a way to connect it to my new Mac mini M4. This did the job perfectly. Be aware, you do need to plug the USB cable from the monitor into the USB port on front of your Mac mini. This will require a standard USB a to USB-C adapter. That said it works perfectly.

Easy way to save $$$ by not having to buy a new display
This is the adapter you need if you want to attach an Apple display through a regular USB_C port on your Mac; used for connecting my MacBook Pro to an Apple LED Cinema Display. Use a separate USB cable for additional display settings.

Works great with 2021 M1 Pro and Apple Cinema Display
So far a great product, allowing me to connect my old 27" Apple LED Cinema Display to my 2021 MacBook M1 Pro on Sequoia 15.3. Full resolution and the picture looks identical compared to when I plug the display directly into my 2015 MBP Thunderbolt port.

READ THIS… if using with an APPLE CINEMA DISPLAY.
If you are using this adapter out a Mac Mini to your old Apple Cinema Display (mine is from 2010)….I’ll save you some frustration… Internet searching… and UpTab help email when this gizmo DOESN’T WORK. The UpTab adapter is NOT an all-in-one adapter. It ONLY transfers IMAGE out your Mac Mini M2 to your Cinema Display: NOT AUDIO…. Or at least not enough to really hear. You will need to ALSO plug in the USB connector from your Cinema Display INTO the Mac Mini USB port as pictured in these photos. THEN…. you will have full audio Mac Mini to Cinema Display. I did not realize that this UpTab adapter was just basically a video only adapter when it comes to my Apple Cinema Display. Once I found this out, everything worked perfectly.

Connecting my older 27" Apple LED Cinema Display to my new 16-inch Macbook Pro...
I recently purchased a new 16-inch Macbook Pro (Nov 23 Apple M3 Pro 36 GB). I quickly learned that my old(er) 27" Apple LED Cinema Display (circa 2015) did not connect to my new laptop. After doing some digging, there were not a lot of solutions - at least solutions that didn't result in video / audio issues and other problems. I wanted to be able to seamlessly work across both displays as I always have! I came across the UPTab USB C to Mini DisplayPort Adapter via an article. So happy that I did! It was literally "plug and play" and I was back in business. This adapter is worth it's weight in gold and for a great price as well! Very highly recommend if you're in a similar situation as I WAS!

Worked great! Apple LED Cinema 27” to iPad Air (M2) 2024
Was trying to find an adapter for Apple LED Cinema Display to work with a 13” iPad Air M2 (2024) and this worked perfectly. The iPad recognizes it right away.

Does not support the Apple Cinema DVI monitor
I recently upgraded my MacBookPro for a newer 2019 model which has four USB Type C ports. My old MacBookPro had a MiniDisplay port with which I ran an Apple Cinema HD 23" DVI monitor with an Apple DVI-to-MiniDisplay adaptor. I assumed that an Apple MiniDisplay-USB Type C adaptor would work with the new MBPro. It did not.So I tried the CableCreation USB Type C to DVI adaptor which claims compatibility with the 2019 MBPro. It did not work. Then I tried the Benfei USB Type C to DVI adapter which also claims compatibility with the new MBPro. It did not work.Next I tried the UPTab USB Type C to MiniDisplay adaptor thinking that it would work with my Apple DVI-MiniDisplay adaptor. It did not. Finally, I tried the "Club 3D CAC-1510-A USB C to Dual Link DVI-D Adapter HDCP Off" adaptor. IT WORKS!!! You can find it here: https://www.amazon.com/CAC-1510-Adapter-Displays-3840x2160-2560x1600/dp/B08B7FSVTL/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=Club+3D+CAC-1510&qid=1615575897&sr=8-3Note that Club makes two models, one with "HDCP Off" that supports the Apple Cinema monitor, and one that has HDCP. The HDCP On model will not support the Apple Cinema.Thank you Amazon for offering free returns for devices that make false support claims. It is worth noting here that Apple does not provide an adaptor to support their own older, perfectly functional, DVI monitors.
