Functionality, wise I believe it will be probably best for my 5-year-old.Durability, your ability wise is going to be the same.It's good for kids. This casting rod is super easy to use, and it’s great fun for playing with cats and kittens.I recommend wrapping the fish sinker with fabric or padding because it’s too hard for a cat to hold in its mouth. Take care to not cast at the cat! I know this rod is meant for small children, and I think it would be great fun for them, especially if they have loved ones that fish.
