I like that they blackened the numbers and they are deep enough they can be felt. I don't like I had to buy 4 to get my free prime shipping, seems to be a magic dollar amount. I would have preferred a , 12 or 13 gauge instead of the welding wire gauges,. The sheet metal sizes are close enough to the wire size to tell if you can't already. You'll run onto to something thicker than 14 but thinner than 0.125 (which BTW, works in a pinch for 11ga), it means you need the calipers and if your like me, one with good batteries. There is one on the amazon with a 6 &8ga notch for 2x money.

What I liked about these thickness gauges that even if the ink wears off they are laser etched into the metal so just still be able to read and use. I would definitely purchase again if needed
