These are good ear plugs. High noise-reduction rating, individually wrapped pairs, soft, size works for our family (both adults and pre-teen kids). We use them in the family office so we don’t bother each other while working, we stuff a bunch in our bags when we travel so we can all sleep better in our hotel room. We go through a lot so it’s nice to have a bulk size at an economical price.

Wore to watch a live band at a small venue. I walked out with zero issues with hearing and loved the product.

I use these for my students when I am teaching firearms. When you DOUBLE UP on ear protection by using these ear plugs in combination with Electronic Earmuffs, you get better than either method individually, and increase the noise reduction to a point where you might actually get away with minimal damage from hearing gun shots. If going to the range makes your ears hurt, it is very likly that you need more hearing protection. Don't let those macho men at the range tell you "ear muffs are plenty"--they aren't. Double up, save your hearing.That being said, I will say, these are not the most comfortable to wear. There are green, more "rocket" shaped earplugs you can get that are smaller, and I think do about as good a job, when combined with ear MUFFS. Women, especially those with smaller heads, might not appreciate these ear plugs. I bought both, and I find both to be good. I haven't used these by themselves, nor would I. Double up your ear protection.

I've used denser plugs that actually work. These don't fully noise-cancel.
