Loud Ear 110dB Gain Personal Amplifier

I bought this because I have pregnancy Tinnitus and I can't hear a damn thing my husband (or any man) is saying over the ringing in my ears! It was getting SO bad at work that I felt it was unprofessional how often I had to say "What?" not to mention ANNOYING! So, I got this thing with pretty low expectations, but it works great! It's like a Go-Go Gadget ear! It is NOT good in my lunchroom where there is refrigerator noise which drowns out any speaking, but in my quiet office, it works awesome! I tried it with the TV last night too and it was great! So, my summary is: don't expect this to work if there is a lot of background noise, it will pick up on those noises first, but for around the office and at home on my couch in the living room it is great. If I have one complaint so far it's that I haven't found a convenient place to set the microphone where I won't have to move it, but that won't be noticeable to my coworkers. If I wear it on my pocket, I hear a lot of noise from me moving around. I placed it on my desk next to me and no one seems to have noticed it yet. Great option for the price and it just looks like I'm listening to music through an earbud in my ear! Great buy!

I am pleased with the performance of this product. It takes a little adjusting the volume to minimize background noise. I only use for watching tv. I don't think this would be very good for crowd setting because the background noise would be too much. Would recommend for use for inhome tv watching.

I bought this for a friend of mine who is currently in a convalescent facility. Hearing aids were hurting his ears, and I don’t really think was getting the job run done right. Plus all the battery exchange was a hassle. When he was admitted to the hospital the Laud ear device was used by several of the staff. He heard great, it’s very lightweight easy to insert, and pretty much does exactly what it supposed to do. One downside, of course the loud ear magnifies everything. If you are in a noisy environment, such as a dining hall, it’s pretty difficult to hear anything. That being said, one on one, in a quiet room, visiting with an elderly person, the Loud ear works quite well. I would definitely buy one again if needed.

This product arrived promptly and I was eager to use it. My goal was to use it for watching TV. Voices were unintelligible and the product was unusable. I immediately returned it and purchased a different product which was more expensive. It works beautifully. Don't waste your timer and money on this. Spend a little more and get something that actually works.

I love your loud ear. I bought this for my 91 year old mother. I f I could make a suggestion. Can you please put a numbered dial 1,2,3,4,5 etc. on your volume control. It would help a lot. To reset the volume in the same place evetime. Because now you have to turn it off & you have to guess where the volume was before. Except that minor problem it works great.

I tried this for my mom as she is hard of hearing but can't afford an expensive hearing aid - well this did not work at all for her. I could hear the screeching sound as she was trying to adjust the volume. Looks like we need to do something else. Not sure if we had a defective one or if that's just the way it works? Anyway, I sent it back to the company. Return was easy and prompt return of my $$. It's worth a try if you think this will work for you since it was so easy to return. Worth the money to try - and it looks like it worked for others - just not for my mom. That's why I gave it a 3 star instead of 2.

As it plainly says on the box this little amplifier is not a hearing aid and will not correct hearing aberrations. I am quite hearing impaired but needed an amplifier in certain situations such as hearing a car coming up behind me when I am out walking and also hearing someone knock on the door.The unit is quite powerful and is about the size of match box. I thought at first the ear bud would not stay in my ear and would fall out, but it doesn't and is very comfortable. If you have a kitty, this device will send him to Nirvana as he sits in your lap and plays with that little cord. The device weathers such antics on the part of your kitty as the ear bud stays right in place so both you and your kitty can give the Reizen Loud Ear high marks.The unit comes with two AAA batteries. The on-off dial is easy to access and a little red light glows on the top of the unit when it is on.
