Morning glories
The media could not be loaded. I planted these in May. I live in upstate NY. After fighting the birds trying to take the seeds, they started growing and are wonderful. My first flower bloomed this morning (July 9th)

Sprouted super quick, very resilient - good for first time gardeners or black thumbs!
I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to gardening but these ladies are so easy to grow!! I'm usually a bit of a black thumb when it comes to gardening but I don't think I could kill these if I wanted to. The packet mentions to put a little nick in the seed and soak it overnight which I think is definitely the key to success. I have three planters with three different sets of morning glory seeds - the planters with seeds from other companies grew 2 out of 3 seeds in one and only 2 out of 5 seeds in the other, but these? All three seeds sprouted and are growing like CRAZY! Something to be mindful of though is pests - I found out the hard way that a) squirrels are happy to eat the leaves of young morning glories, but also the plant will definitely survive and grow as long as you give it plenty of water, also b) there's a type of moth called the Bedellia Somnulentella aka the Sweet Potato-Leaf Miner or the Morning-Glory Leaf Miner that can find these plants easily. I got a non-toxic mite spray that smells like bad garlic oil that seems to be working though.

No Seed Sprouted
I have purchased these in the past and they did beautifully. I ordered them again on April 7th, 2024, did as I always do, soaked them overnight, planted as directed and a month later not one need sprouted. I obviously got a bad batch, but I'm not willing to risk purchasing them again, so I purchased a different brand and hoping for the best that I'll have flowers this fall. I live north of Houston and no matter when the seeds go in the ground, the never begin to bloom until the beginning of October, which makes for a color autumn.

They do not grow
IDK, I have planted these for the third time, the first two times they did not grow. I imbibed them overnight, I could see the see casing split open and the germ exposed, but they never sprout. This is the last of the seed pack and I am trying it once more. I bought them because I could not find these seeds locally.

Viable, easy to grow seeds for a hummingbird attractive flower.
Needed a good naturalizing seed flower that spreads by itself in the garden, season after season and the Morning Glories are just great flowers for that. These grew quickly to cover a long chain link fence, and hummingbirds and seed eating birds also came for their vary colored flowers. Also very drought tolerant, do not water more than once a week and then sparingly or they won't flower at all!
