We purchased this refrigerator from LOWES within two years it has stopped working, called 800-726-7864 spoke with Thomas ID 86807, was assigned case 4141618988 he said to call 310-747-1680 these guys are aware of the samsung refrigerators having class action they were aware that these units cost much more than kenmore and are more cheap quality as compared to kenmore or other brands. So to cut short this was on 3/17, appointment to come out was 3/20/17 nobody called to postpone or cancel the appointment, my wife stayed home for tech to come out and take a look, i was told if there is defect in machinery they will cover the cost, confirmed by Shantee. When nobody came i called them back on 3/22/17 spoke with Jasmine she gave another ticket 4141710424 and she gave phone number 877-412-1665 to call for appointment. When I called that number spoke with ANGIE, she says you know that you are out of warranty and that you have to pay for service, I told her that samsung told me if its machine related they will cover the cost, she then replied they are inaccurate at that point I said thanks and put the phone down. Samsung has class action all US since 2010 still no improvements.

This is absolutely junk. Had it 4 years and cooling system went out. Still sitting here after 3weeks trying to get it repaired. I’m still under warranty but Samsung repair doesn’t want to work on it because it takes 3-5 hours to fix. ASC repair lied about the refrigerator not being under warranty and stating it had fiscal damage. No where on ticket when it was being inspected did it say it was fiscal damage and warranty is out. Samsung ordered parts for my refrigerator and had them delivered ASC to repair. I can go on and on but I’m sure you understand why you should not order any Samsung products!

Mine is 16 months old & the distribution fan quit working. Door Display panel said the refrigerator side was at 34 degrees. I checked with 2 thermometers & it was 59 degrees on the top shelf. Called Samsung & they said it was because I had it set to Energy Saver & it was froze up! So I took all the food out & removed the inside back panel and it was NOT frozen up at all & the coil was quite cold. But I could see the distribution fan wasn't running. So to save the food I installed an aux fan until I can get the stock fan to work. Fridge side is very cold now but not very usable. Samsung told me it out of warranty by 4 months, so I am SOL. $1400 spent & I have lost all faith in this Fridge & Samsung. See pic of aux fan.

The ice maker is a piece of junk, bad design, too many law suites...
