2022 update - still highly recommended: I have had my dB9PRO recorder for over 3 years now and it has performed faultlessly during that time. It’s easy to use, great for conversations and meetings, with clear voice recording and none of the background buzz which I’ve had from others. It’s a small, slim size, with a little belt clip so is easy to carry around. The little instruction booklet which comes with it has simple, easy to understand instructions. I recently bought a second as a backup and received first-class, responsive customer service from Sam with my queries. I can highly recommend this little recorder and the company selling it.Works as described. Clear recordings and very easy to use. Very helpful information and tutorial provided by seller as additional follow-up. Great product, thank you.

I wanted to post this review as i recently purchased this 8gb flash drive secret voice recording device very recently, & i have to say that im pretty impressed!Prior to purchasing this one, I browsed several here on Amazon, & read TONS of reviews. I was more so looking for quality, rather than price, as obv i wanted a price that was reasonable, & affordable, - not the cheapest, yet not wanting to pay the earth, but i was specifically looking for the best in terms of its inconspicuous discreet appearance, with good quality voice recording, a long battery life, & also, easy to set up & operate. And THIS was the one which I opted for, based on those required specifications. It was also, at £21.99, I felt, a reasonable price to pay, for what it is, & im so glad that I did opt to purchase this one!It arrived speedily, which was great!👌 & was well presented, in a slim yet sturdy tin presentation case (so ideal for giving as a gift), and within its case also came a small, long, pull-out instruction booklet, & an attachment for being able to attach the flash drive to a keyring, & also a black lanyard, which is really useful!Note: this device charges via USB connection to either a computer / laptop, or simply by inserting the USB stick into a USB mains plug, as in, most charging adapter plugs have a USB connection, for inserting micro USB charging cables, or apple lightening charging cables, which can be easily removed, for this flash drive to be inserted into. This device needs an initial full charge of 3 hours. This device has a battery charging/charged indicator light, which changes from red to blue.After this initial full charge, the flash drive then needs to be inserted into the USB port of a laptop, then simply follow the setup instructions booklet, - which, honestly, its set up is soooooo easy, & is really quick to set up too, then, this device is ready to go!This device is so very simple to operate, & also simple & hassle-free to transfer its recording to a computer / laptop.The playback sound quality of recordings is also really good👌 - playback is clear, & this voice recorder has a good pick-up range too.Needless to say, I'm VERY happy with my purchase, & i would deffo HIGHLY recommend.I hope you have found this review helpful, 😉, xx

Looks like a USB stick so can be placed in a desk next to you and used to record whenever needed, only downside it it won't record when plugged into the laptop which would be the most logical thing for it to do! Also the files are Wave files, not a problem but you need to use the search to get the right software to open the audio files. Sound pickup is very good and plenty of time. Haven't downloaded from it yet but hopefully will be easy then I can erase and use again. Great for those conversations you need an exact record of.

Very Easy to lose recordings if droped or even a door slamed near it

I tried a few USB memory stick type recorders and this is the first one that actually works! Not only does it work but it's pretty good quality, plenty clear enough for voice and sensitive enough without too much background noise. Easy to use with a PC and the time setting app is a single click.

Good quality, works well, fast, light, sensitive. Having used this voice recorder for a couple of days, I am quite pleased with it. The way I tested it was that I left it on all night long. I have done this in the past and other recording devices have had a lot more background noise, but this one does not have as much and really picks up every noise. I could hear myself getting up in the middle of the night. It does have a decent battery life – about 7-10 hours, which is pretty long for a day out. Apparently, from reading the e-book they sent me, it can also record while charging, although you have to switch it ON before plugging it in to charge. Playing the files back was easy enough, although on Windows 10 I had to make sure I was using Windows Media Player and not Groove Music. I have to wait and see how this shapes out over time, but so far it seems like a good product.
