Got this product today. I was excited to try it but had never indulged because the price I think is very high for 12 small bags of cheese puffs. I have been keto for 5 years and sometimes crave the snacks I used to have and Hilo life made a version of this at one time which was pretty good so i decided to finally try Schoolyard Snacks. Upon opening a bag the first thing I noticed was the smell...cheesy but with a underlying funkiness which kind of put me off but I decided to taste it anyway. The second was the texture...They are very hard, nothing light or fluffy about them to warrant being called puffs. The taste...I am not lying when I tell you that the first thing you experience when you take a bite is an immediate sourness that turns your stomach as you attempt to swallow. However, having spent so much on them I decided to force myself to try another. There is a lingering cheese flavor that finally comes through if you can get past the acrid sourness and swallow. However my stomach turned at even the thought of going any further... I will not be trying a third "puff". I am definitely disappointed that I paid so much for the horrible experience I had so please do not make the mistake I did...they are horrible...do not buy them. The 1 star is for the fact that they came so quickly and NOT for the product itself. I threw the open bag away as the funky smell continued to upset my stomach. I am now left with 11 bags of expensive snacks that I would not inflict on my worst enemy.

This is just what I needed for my low carb diet. I am not on keto but trying to be healthy and I love the nutrition with these! Sometimes you just want a savory crunch snack and these are awesome! The taste is strong but good. I was worried about the size of the individual bags, but they are surprisingly filling! My husband says they are too hard for him to chew comfortably.

I’ve had other cheese puff protein snacks but these are gross, they taste like dirt. I only bought them since the ones I like were out of stock so now I have a case of dirty tasting “cheese snacks” only my dog likes that I’m not even sure I can actually give him. They have a crunch but so do rocks. They are orange so if you like the stained finger look you’ll get that. But they taste like dirt. I do not recommend zero out of ten.

Only thing is it took them forever to send me the item. Ordered around April 6, was shipped out April 24. Texture is different from other regular snack but I like the taste.

A bit pricey and of course it does not taste as good as cheetos but perfectly acceptable substitution for those that want to do a low carb/keto diet. Highly recommend this product.

It is crunchy, but tastes like fake cheese. Really not worth it. Now I am stuck with a whole box of them.

Good if you’re starving for a crunchy snack on Keto!! Dip these in a low carb dip for max enjoyment . First bite is good . After taste not so great …..,very expensive if you’re not going to love them

There is a horrible smell when you open the bag. Once you put it in your mouth, you’ll have an immediate aftertaste. These are terrible and not returnable. Disgusting flavor.I had to spit out the sour cream one as it was as if I dumped a bunch on of salt in my mouth. Both the cheddar and the sour cream are horrible. Now I’m out $64 dollars as this garbage isn’t returnable.
