Calphalon 5-Piece Nylon Kitchen Cooking Utensil Set

I have times where I cook a ton and not at all. My boyfriend is a professional cook and I wanted something that made me not look like an idiot to have in my kitchen. These are incredible. I always get so nervous that the products I use cannot hold up to the heat I prefer but these have done so well. For the last few weeks I've used them quite a bit and still have no complaints at all. They're also very very easy to wash which is a huge plus since I don't have a dishwasher. They're very light which makes them easily maneuverable but still feel very strong so I don't have any reserves about using it for some heavier/trickier items. I feel that they're well worth the price.

Quality set with all of the essential utensils. I needed to replace a couple of decade+ old Calphalon spatulas that were showing their age and it’s a better deal to buy a set. I wasn’t sure how I would feel about the angular edge on one side and the rounded corner on the other, but they have grown on me and are actually quite versatile. I haven’t found a use for the serrated edge on the turner, but it isn’t detrimental either. All told, I’m very happy with the set so far. They work great with my nonstick cookware.

We had been changing over to Calphalon pans and unfortunately scratched one with a mettle utensil. We had started using non-metal replacements but still had a few to swap. I happened to see these and thought why not?One thing that takes getting used to is the light weight and the plastic feeling. It almost feels like they will fall apart. They haven't so far and have been used to make many dishes.They are deceptively sturdy and handle hot liquids and the dishwasher.These are needed if you are going to use the pots.

There is a lot of thought and design built into this set of utensils. They are strong enough to pull up huge wads of spaghetti, flip potatoes with ease and stir just about anything you could cook. The large spatula has teeth on one side. Which surprisingly enough is very useful on non stick pans. I have used it to cut a couple of grilled cheeses sandwiches and some veggies right in the pan.I highly recommend adding the Calphalon Nylon Ladle Utensil soup ladle. It is another great addition to this set. Actually the Ladle is the reason I bought this set.My only wish is that they would make a pancake flipping one in this design. They have a Calphalon one but it is a slightly different design.

Don't scratch your non-stick cookware! Use these utensils instead of metal to avoid scratching your non-stick cookware.I have a Calphalon non-stick cookware set. Even using wooden utensils caused scratches. I ordered these to avoid further damage and it was a good decision. The rubber is soft enough to avoid damaging the coating on the pots and the pans.This set contains five useful cookware utensils. It will be enough for the needs of most people. The pasta fork is very handy. I am not impressed by the design of the turner but it works well enough. I do not like the serrated edges and it is really not very good at cutting. It is also a little bit thick. But like I said, it works well enough.The quality of the material is fine and the price is fair. I feel like the utensils will last a long time. Just be aware that they are made of rubber. Do not leave them touching the metal parts of a hot cookware. They will get damaged by the heat if you leave them touching the edge of a pot while the heat is on. Take good care of them and they will last a long time. You can put them in the dishwasher and they will be fine. Top rack is the best location.Highly recommended.

I purchased these to go along with Calphalon's Ceramic Nonstick pan set and have been pleasantly surprised with the utensils. I expected these to feel like the cheap plastic utensils you can pick up at almost any grocery store, however, they have some heft and weight to them that makes them feel more durable.The utensils have a nonstick coating as well that works great with the ceramic coating in Calphalon's pans and makes them easy to clean. If you are purchasing ANY nonstick pan set, you need this utensil set.

This is my go to set it works like metal utensils but it’s its safe for all pots and pans. I was coming back to order another set when I realized I had never reviewed them the first time. Unfortunately they seem to be out of stock I hope it isn’t permanent as I want a backup set for the set I use every day!!! If you have a chance this is the set to buy.

Great utensils, sturdy too. Only issue I have come across is that they are not stain resistant. One of the slotted spoons I had used to stir and serve an Indian curry and the spoon got stained from the sauce. I soaked in very hot soapy water and it appears to be permanently stained a slight yellow color. Other than that, they are great
