These are a great size but I was looking for something that would keep the contents airtight. The lids do not screw on firmly. Luckily I put them in a ziploc when I mailed them because they leaked and went everywhere.

I purchased the 1oz jars to store mica powders in. They seem to be a good quality product. The plastic used for the jars is not too thin like other containers I've tried. I store them upside-sown so I can see the colors easier when I'm working. So far the foam seals have kept the powders from puffing out of the jars as everything gets moved around. I haven't used them for liquids yet, so I'm not sure how leakproof they would be for anything with a lower viscosity, but for thicker creams and lotions they would probably work fine.

These are the perfect size for giving away samples of my homemade body products. They are small, but can fit a substantial amount for testing scent, texture, etc of a product.
