Quick easy swap and works perfectly.
Just received and installed. I see people questioning the extra pins. I believe they are for daytime running lights, if so equipped. Canada versions required them. Disregard the extra pins as the connector does have the slots without connectors so it fits just fine. Quick installation and the new switch moves smoothly. One last thing, you need to swap the fog lamp telltale bulb from the old one.

It worked on a 2002 Mercedes R129 SL500
As the title says, it worked on a 2002 Mercedes R129 SL500. Does not include the tiny bulb that indicates the fog lights are on, so I just pulled it out of the old one and put it in this one.

Was easy to install in '98 SL500
I installed it in a '98 SL500. It is not an exact replacement as this part seems to cover a range of models, but the connector fits in and It has the full functionality of the original it replaced. The install was easy and took maybe 10-15 minutes after watching a Youtube video, the hardest part for me was just putting that dumb panel back on under the steering wheel. This one didn't come with a light bulb installed so you'll need to switch it over from the old part if you want it to light up, but if you don't it doesn't really make that much of a difference.

Well that’s a switch
There’s not much to say. It didn’t make dinner or save me 15% on car insurance, but the switch fits, it works, it’s currently priced right and it showed up on time.
