My wafer arrived well packaged and intact. The package would need to be mishandled badly to break the wafer. I also want to point out that the frames that are used to display 12-inch LP vinyl records (and picture disks) are a great choice for displaying the 12-inch wafer. Mine was one of the higher-priced frames available here on Amazon, so I can't vouch for every cheaper frame sold here, but the size of the round hole in the matt is perfect. https://www.amazon.com/Picture-Record-Frame-White-Solid/dp/B00V3UOM8C?ref_=ast_sto_dp

Arrived in perfect shape, packed very well! It's beautiful! Wish I had a powerful microscope to look at it but I'll try to take some pix and add them at a later time. I searched the disk for any labels. Found something and best I can tell it is some sort of SDRAM. Looks like 55LP UAJ TOP VD7. The 55LP is probably the important info. See photo.
