Works great!
Cleaned the whole house, plus vacuumed, then sprayed everything down, from couch to rug to bedding to pillows, etc. Cats stopped itching, licking, biting and “jumping” when they would be sitting on the floor, by the evening! Was told by vet to not spray. so much that it soaks things and to make sure animals are put away, while it’s drying . Highly recommend.

Tried and true. My favorite indoor premise spray.
When Siphotrol (and every other product on the market containing an IGR- insect growth regulator) was ordered taken off the market by the EPA years ago for reasons unbeknownst to me, I shuddered to think what my options would be for a great indoor premise spray. Thankfully, Siphotrol came back and is just as good as ever. This is a fantastically effective indoor premise spray that will address each life stage of the flea from larvae to adult while offering continued protection beyond the treatment. You may notice other critters dropping dead too, such as ants and spiders...The key to good flea control, is consistent vacuuming of all areas, not just the high traffic ones. Fleas do migrate, so be sure to vacuum baseboards, floors, between seat cushions, shake out blankets and wash in hot water. Flea eggs resemble grains of salt, so they are not easy to find. Flea dirt, which is dried flea blood, often looks like specks of pepper, or may resemble small curly q's. To be sure, slightly dampen a paper towel and sprinkle a few of those black specks on it. If it's flea dirt, the specks will turn a dull to vivid red in color.I've used Siphotrol for years and like it for a few reasons. No offensive lingering odor or sticky residue on carpeting. I don't treat my hardwood floors with it, just the carpeting. This spray, combined with a regimen of Frontline or Advantage and good housekeeping, and you should see that flea problem go away. I prefer this pump over the aerosol primarily since you are paying for a lot of air with the can. Siphotrol is not to be applied on your pet. If you want a good topical flea spray, this company makes a spray called Ovitrol that contains the same insect growth regulating properties and is a great product.

ONE APPLICATION AND IT WORKS FOR A SEASON!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I abhor chemicals! That being said I've tried a bunch of "organic" remedies to remove flea infestations in my home and none, and I mean NONE have ever worked. I read the reviews here about this product and tried it out. IT WORKS!... did I mention...IT WORKS! Fleas are like any other pest, they rapidly evolve and start becoming immune to your chemical warfare on them. You have to keep shaking things up. One application of this and it's "game over" for fleas. The instructions say you may need a second spraying about a week later but I never have had to. You will get that second burst of eggs a week later but they die off within a day... don't re-apply. It works for only about a season, 13 weeks, at least for me. DO wear a mask and latex gloves while applying this stuff. Cover only the floor area of your home. Forget about anything else to spray, as soon as the fleas hit the floor they are dead or dying. DO NOT spray your pets. DO plan on vacating the house for a few hours. NO need to have windows open. DOES leave a waxy film on your carpeting and rugs. DO spray rugs as well. DO spray as much of a room as possible BUT every square inch is unnecessary. I don't have kids, but I would not let them crawl anywhere I put this stuff...EVER! In about 2 hours after spraying it becomes odorless. Ignore the few fleas that you see jump on you or your pet, when the fleas touch the floor at any time they will DIE! I trust what this flea killer does, but I really don't trust chemicals like this in the long run. Then again what is my solution, "through the baby out with the bath water"?

Flea Control
I believe it is working in certain areas. Unfortunately, I have to deal with the dog having fleas on her as well. I would buy this again to continue working on the flea problem which I know is not a one step fix and you have to keep at them continually until they are really really gone from the pet and the house!

Effective, Mostly Immediately, 100% Takes Longer, Good Stuff
One star off a bit reluctantly because it wasn't 100% effective immediately.Fleas are tenacious little buggers. We have two, long haired dogs. It's tough to see the fleas on furniture or in carpet, easier to find them on the dogs. In the past, Frontline Plus seemed to control or prevent the problem and prevent a house infestation, but not this year. Maybe it was the dry weather. It was a battle. We tried over the counter flea bombs, two brands; someplace between immeasurably marginal and a total waste of money.Based on the vet's recommendation, we tried the canned aerosol and this pump sprayer. Either is OK, more for your money with the pump sprayer. Also used a sticky paper Victor Ultimate Flea Trap (Amazon), but we use the flea trap more as a measure of how bad the infestation is; it will not solve the problem. Count the fleas trapped in 24 hours, when it gets down to 1 or 2 you just about have things under control. Zero and you can break out the champagne. The Siphotrol products seem to be largely effective immediately. The label says it kills adult fleas on contact and I won't argue with that but the critters seem to hide or hatch continuously. It certainly knocks down the population but it takes another week or so to eliminate the problem. It did not require a second application. Also, if you've chased fleas you know they're fast and elusive, but after the Siphotrol, if they're still living they're pretty lethargic. We used the Siphotrol product on the carpet and furniture, and Barklogic's Lemongrass Tick and Flea Pet Wash (Amazon) on the dogs, one application each and the problem was maybe 90+% resolved the first day, stragglers gone within a week. The Siphotrol has almost no smell, nothing residual. Though the dogs love to swim, they have always loathed a bath. FWIW there's something about this Lemongrass product that they both liked, very mild, pleasant aroma and you could see the fleas going down the drain.
