Handy to have around; reasonably sturdy.
I got a couple of these pocket chairs to keep in my car for occasions when I need to wait in line for something. They have come in handy for that. We even carried one around in a pack during a Europe trip for my elderly mother to be able to rest when she got tired from walking around.First off, are they really pocketable? Maybe if you have a wide, deep jacket pocket. You won't be fitting these into any pants pockets for sure. The design is quite clever how the frame folds in half and then uses the tension of the seat cloth and two straps to keep everything in place. The build quality seems good enough. A 200 pound male can sit on one of these and it has not collapsed and feels pretty sturdy, although the top canvas seat is just barely big enough. A 120 pound female fits comfortably and securely on it.One of my chairs folds and secures with the straps pretty easily. On the other, the straps seem just a tiny bit too short (as other reviewers have noted) and you have to use a large amount of force to stretch it into place. Once it is in place, everything seems secure and ok though.Overall, these chairs have been useful to keep handy and have held up to a variety of people and situations.Update: after about a year, one of the chairs (the one that had too short straps), started visibly splitting at the seams on the chair's fabric surface. I think it was just stretched too tight since it was made too short.

Great little chair, especially for the price!
I got lucky and found a deal for 2 of these for $6.50, but I would have gladly paid more for one after knowing how useful they are. I do a lot of camping, fishing, boating, and other outdoor activities throughout most of the year and I take both of these with me everywhere I go for myself and friends. They may not fit in your pocket so well and they are probably a bit heavy to put in your pockets even if you wanted to, but they are still pretty small and light enough to easily carry in any cooler, tackle box, purse, etc... or they even come in a nice carrying case with handles if you don't have anything with you. They are a relatively small seat (looks kind of like a child chair) and moderately unstable but they still comfortably seat me and they surely beat sitting on the ground, pier, logs, rocks, or whatever other dirty, uncomfortable objects that may be around.

Great for camping, outdoor events
I bought this to "try out" before I purchased some for gifts for some friends.I was surprised by how sturdy it seemed to be, and it wasn't half-bad in terms of comfort. This chair is a good girft for people who go camping or who attend outdoor events where seating isn't provided.(Warning—Do NOT buy the "two pack" version of this chair...it sounds like a good "two for" deal, but I discovered after they were delivered that it's not the same chair! The "two pack" chairs are more like factory seconds—bad stitching, shoddy materials, poorly made.)

Amazing little compact, foldable, durable, chair.
The chair arrived as described in a timely manner. These are truly amazing little chairs. My husband & son took a couple of these to a week long scout camp. The scouts and adults were pretty rough on them but they stood the test and are still perfectly functional for our family. They are great if you are looking for a small lightweight foldable, packable chair, this is it. The only drawbacks to this chair is it can be a little uncomfortable after sitting in it for an hour due to it beingtoo low to the ground and having no back support.

Small and practical!
I saw this chair at a party and was intrigued by the size. I ordered these to take to Laguna Seca (motorcycle races). I don't like to carry a lot of stuff abound and these fit perfectly in a small backpack. They gave our bottoms and knees variety from just sitting on the ground and a little height to see above the rest of the crowd sitting on the ground! Highly recommended for any event/festival where you want to both walk around and sit at times. They are also very strong, a guy who looked like he probably exceeded the weight limit asked to try ours and it didn't seem to budge much.

Bought as a footstool - OK for that, not sure it would be a good chair.
I had read previous reviews and knew it as small but seeing it is still a bit surprising as it is VERY low to the ground. I'm 5'11" and I would imagine it would be quite uncomfortable to sit on for more than a couple minutes. The ground seems like it would be a better option. As stated in the title, I did not purchase as a chair but as a compact footstool to tuck under desks. It took some getting used to as it is much lower that previous footstools I've used but it doesn't take up much room, is easily portable and it serves it's purpose.I would recommend for a portable footstool, or a child's stool for sitting. I would think an adult would have to be quite petite to find this useful for more than about 5 minutes.

Small, uncomfortable, and it broke on my third use.

Great little pocket chair
I bought this pocket chair for my boyfriend and he absolutely loved it. It's small, light weight and easy to take any where. He really needed something to use in the shop when working on stuff so it didn't hurt his back bending down and this did the job. He nows uses this every day while working.
