Great starting point
I really like this collection in general. This is not the best of the very short intros I've read but it's not the worst either. If you are looking for a quick overview of the major issues in (bio)medical ethics this is a good place to start. The books is slanted more towards the practice than purely theoretical philosophy; however, the theory is absolutely discussed. The book has a good 'tools for thinking' chapter that covers a lot of the theoretical ground.Topics covered include but aren't limited to: euthanasia, statistics, the unborn, psychiatric concerns, genetic concerns, medical research ethics.

Great little book!
Perhaps the best 100-page Introduction to Medical Ethics out there. I used this text for a medical ethics discussion section of an Introduction to Ethics course. Ideal for a course where there was a lot of other reading (of primary texts, i.e., Aristotle, Kant, Mill, etc.) The author is clear and concise, and while this isn't by any means a survey book, it provides a nice overview of a number of issues in medical ethics.

Good
This piece of material is very helpful to the understanding of basic principles of Medical Ethics. I will recommend the book to everyone who plans to take this course and a nursing career in future.

Very useful overview
I am considering using this in a class in medical ethics, so ordered a copy. It's a very good overview, well written, entertaining yet informative. The topics are timely as well. I'll definitely be considering this.

Brilliant little book (beware for med school interview though)
fantastic grounding to medical ethics. Be careful when preparing for medical school interviews as such detailed and sometimes risky opinions (especially to lay interviewers) is completely over and above what is expected. Stick to the medical ethics pillars and keep it simple.

Brilliant introduction to medical ethics
I bought this book in preparation for my medical school interviews. It is a great book which discusses a handful of topics that may come up in a medical school interview and allows you to be able to argue points for and against each topic. Examples include euthanasia, abortion, genetic testing, mental disabilities and medical research.

informative and interesting
Ethical dilemmas occur frequently in my professional role. This book is succinct and informative but also interesting. For me it tackles an important aspect of delivering patient care and I would recommend as a 'dip into' resource or 'cover to cover' read. Like the illustrations as well. Good value for money.

Great for MMI
Excellent brief introductory text. Perfect for people applying to medical school as it covers a lot of the ethical scenarios that tend to come up in MMIs and normal interviews.
