Worked with my Lenovo P51, but had to remove the covering
Works perfectly, just the wrapper on top that covers it. Worked like a charm on my work laptop.I used this because my kids were home due to coronavirus. I took my bitlocker work SSD, put this carriage in there with a personal NVMe SSD and installed W10. Didn't have a dedicated computer for 6 yr old, so this worked.

doesn't fit my Thinkpad P51
The screw doesn't line up and the PC can't read the hard drive I put in it. I don't know if the hard drive is incompatible or that the tray just doesn't fit. Ether way the tray doesn't fit.

A must have for certain laptop SSD M.2 drives.
A must have to install a SSD M.2 drive in certain laptops, such as my Lenovo P50 laptop. Easy to install, & works as expected.

Beware with double sided nvme drives
This drive bay bracket is quite well constructed and fits my Thinkpad P51 with no issues. However, there is a major issue with this bracket when using NVME drives with double sided components. The clearance on the bracket only accommodates NVME drives with components on a single side. I unfortunately only realized this after trying to install my NVME drive and it is unfortunately wedged in so tight against the horizontal bar that I'm worried that some of the SMD components will snap off eventually and I doubt I'll ever be able to remove the NVME drive without breaking the bracket. If I compare it to the OEM bracket from Lenovo then it has a lot more clearance for components. If I had known this beforehand I would have taken a lot more care in buying a suitable bracket.
