Bellaware Big Size Food Storage Containers Set of 3 - Rectangular

I originally wanted these for cereal thinking they were bigger than they are. They aren't quite that big.The biggest one will hold a whole bag of generic cereal. Like the kind that is imitation and comes in the plastic bags as opposed to boxes. The second largest one will hold a standard, middle sized box of cereal. The others I put pasta and rice in. Luckily there is just three of us so they will work for us since we don't have that many different types of cereal.They seal pretty tightly. They aren't hard to pull off but you can tell they are on there very well. I bought little chalkboard stickers and labeled mine.

Update 12/29. The seller was very nice and actually replaced my set. The new set was in perfect condition. I have used them for a few months now and they are holding up really nicely. I love the size variation and they fit well in the pantry.These arrived with a horrendous smell. The look like they have been used. The inside was dirty and there are scratched on the inside of the lids. They are not as big as I thought they would be and they are cheaply made with a flimsy top. They would have still worked if it wasn't for the strong smell they had inside of them. I will be sending them back. I am very disappointed.

Not as sturdy and the lids don't fit as tight as Tupperware or Rubbermaid. I basically got them to store dry food for the cat in them and they're ok - doubt that I will use for anything else and would not order again for things that would spoil. I believe you get what you pay for and I will stick to Rubbermaid for my food.

We had an ant problem in our rental and thought this would help until it was resolved but we found ants inside it drowning in our sugar. Cereal gets stale quickly, too. It's ok if you have food your family eats quickly I guess.

I have two stars not because of the product itself, because it looks like it should and I'm sure will work like it should it's just I wanted cereal containers because I buy the big bags of cereal and we live in the country so mice tend to get into the bags and ruin them. I thought for twenty bucks that's not too bad for five plastic containers, and the description and pictures make you feel like they are good sizes. Way wrong, and way smaller than what I needed. I'm just disappointed in general because they are described as cereal containers and the biggest one only holds a lil more than a reg 12oz box of cereal. And I'm pretty sure you won't find many options at the grocery store for boxes of cereal smaller than that. So why are the other four containers described as "cereal containers" as well? I'm just all around super sad with my purchase. I could have bought a three pack that were real "cereal containers" for half the price I paid for these. I guess I kinda get tunnel vision when you get so many suggestions and choices for the same thing I just assumed most people think the same as me you labeled it a cereal container it will hold cereal and this is one situation where the items are not what they appear.

These are a nice plastic container. They seal well and have not leaked in any way despite many challenging foods and transporting conditions- panniers for example.The shapes fit well in the refrigerator. I especially like the extra large and small ones; these are sizes often missing in a set like this.They all nest together WITH their lids for storage which is also a nice feature.I do not use them in a microwave or put them in a dishwasher.

I bought these to pack homemade lunch and fruits to help me to keep in a better eating habit. The set of 3 is extremely helpful. I usually use the middle one to keep my food and the small one to bring fresh fruit with me to work. They are suited in size for an adult sized lunch. Also, they are totally leak-free. The four little lock on each side of the container are very tight.   It kind of helps to keep the food fresher. It does not like other low quality containers. The plastic are decent thick. I haven’t try to put it in the dish washer because it is pretty easy to clean. Would definitely recommend for these'

Haven't used yet, but when I unpacked them one of the locking tabs on the lid fell off. This was on one of the large ones I would use often. Not a good sign of durability. Also came in plain brown box which I thought was odd. Would be kinda hard to recommend.Update-The company sent me a new set and all is fine with it. Used one and seal was very good and washed up very good.
