Theses ice cold gloves may not let me use my fingers, but they really work! They are extremely cold and killed a lot of my arthritic pain!! The quality is superb, they fit nicely!! I highly recommend them! I checked to see if the same company Made a similar product for elbows, knees, etc. unfortunately no. But the one I have for my foot is also fabulous works just as good that product name I think is called Revix and I highly recommend that one if you need something for your feet.

We ordered these gloves in the large size for a patient with small hands, who had recent carpal tunnel surgery. The large size works better when hands are excessively swollen and partially immobile.The gloves work as described in bring cold relief and reducing swelling owing to inflammation. However, when putting the gloves on straight from the freezer, one needs to use caution particularly if hands are insensitive owing to nerve damage or peripheral neuropathy.The physical size, stiffness, and weight of the gloves is such that one cannot use a hand while in the glove. For a person with limited use of one or both hands, using the Velcro strap to secure the glove on a hand can be problematic.All that being said, the gloves arrived in a zippered PVC pouch, to which Amazon had just stuck an address label. The PVC was torn on one corner on arrival, but the gloves were unaffected.The choice of a heavy PVC pouch by the manufacturer for an item to be chilled or frozen before use is poor. On the first use, the pouch with both gloves inside was placed in a refrigerator freezer. On removal, the pouch fell to the floor. The rest of the pouch shattered in several places as the PVC was below its glass transition temperature and was quite brittle. Word of caution: place the gloves in a suitable PE ziplock bag before freezing. Do not use the supplied PVC bag in which the gloves came.

I purchased it for my husband, whose hands swell at night. He says they help him, feel good, and are super cold.

Using this for my second chemo infusion. I could not bring it to the first one because they are large, heavy, and a bit cumbersome. Since I use the NYC Access A Ride program as transportation I had to purchase the Amazon under-seat carryon with wheels to be able to transport them. It's not a big deal and well worth the minimum cost for a small overnight case. It is a tight fit but it works well. I place a small foil lined shopping bag in first and then place the socks and gloves into that. The carryon has no insulation of it's own.Don't let that dissuade you from purchasing these. They are fantastic and very cold without being stiff and hard. I always arrive early for my appointments and the infusion nurse told me to find them and give them the gloves and socks and they will place it in their freezer to keep it nice and cold until needed. I can say that they are ice cold and keeps the cold for at least an hour. The gel or whatever substance they use is a nice thick layer and not skimpy. That accounts for the weight but that also accounts for the temperature remaining on COLD for a long time. One can't have everything though it may be a problem for people who are frail and not able to handle the weight. I'm still pretty active because I have to be with shopping, cooking, cleaning, light yard work, etc. So it's not so much of a problem for me.

My husband burned his hand on a fire and these arrived the next morning. They are extremely comfortable and not too cold so you can use immediately.
