I took a bunch of these on a recent international trip. My concern was over the airline food and the possibility that I might not be able so source good meet at my destination. They're a handy snack.

Taste like proper biltong and the 3 different flavors was amazing but it’s just to dry for me. I like my biltong a little bit wet and fatty! Overall it tastes great.

Moldy

I was watching a interview with Trevor Noah and he was talking about beef Biltong And he said it was better than beef jerky because beef jerky is trash and I like beef jerk so I said let me try this Biltong & it is delicious.

I ordered the Piedmontese, Grass-Fed Beef Biltong Beef Jerky 3-pack, and each pack gave me a different experience:GARLIC & HERB: This jerky was very good, if a bit salty. It had the right amount of tenderness and chewability and just flat-out tated very good. However, every piece contained one small bit of unchewable gristle that I eventually ended up spitting out. This bag was unopenable by hand, I had to use scissors.SPICY: Again, the right amount of tender, and tasty, but EXTREMELY salty. I haven't had jerky this salty, ever. The spicy-ness isn't obvious at first, but catches up to you quick. You will need something to drink with this to wash out the saltiness.ORIGINAL: This one was actually one of the best tasting jerkys I've had in a while, but it was again overwhelmed by saltiness. A bit spicier than I expected for an "original" flavor. Also had difficulty opening this bag.Overall, not bad, but this was the saltiest jerky I've ever had. Seems to me that with a few tweaks this could be great jerky, but it's just not there yet. I really expected much better quality at this price.

I do like certified Piedmontese beef. but these I did not like because they’re too stringy. The flavor is OK but they’re difficult as a jerky type of product.

A little bite expensive for the amount of beef. But no garlic and a flavor of coriander. Very good.

The meat was completely moldy in the package. Do not buy this garbage. Even of the pieces that didn’t have mold, the seasoning was really bad. Stay away.
