NIce looking piece that I have on my desk. I purchased the item f months for a special plant that generally goes dormant in the winter months, since I have been using the table light I have notice much new growth, all I wanted was the plant to survive the winter, quite surprised. Excellent product and satisfied, looking into other models from this company.

I have purchased two of these units in the last month. On the first unit the wooden base cracked clear through. On the second unit the bulb housing was extremely loose with no way to tighten it down thus exposing wiring. I wouldn't waste my time or money getting a third. Just say no!

I love this product, and I am buying one for my office, and as a gift for my mother. Works great and has an awesome design!

Not worth what I paid ($40), at all.Cons:> Decorative metal parts (thin brass maybe?) were pitted and corroded already when I opened it. And not even like... "antique" look to it. More of a "this fitting/piece was left exposed in a non-climate controlled storage for too long and the metal is already compromised" way.>bulb is... Interesting. Housing is solid aluminum for heat dissipation it seems. But be warned when screwing the bulb in- the fins where you instinctively would grip to tighten the bulb are SHARP. Sliced my finger open before I knew it. Otherwise the bulb isn't bad, but I used a different grow bulb anyways because I don't like the purple grow bulbs.>Plug on the end of the cord is VERY weird. Never seen one like it. Doesn't fit/stay in well for some reason-maybe slightly smaller than normal? Outlets are basically brand new so I know the outlet isn't loose.>wooden base is completely untreated/raw woodPros:>wooden base is, to my amateur eye, real wood. So I can hopefully stain it to protect from water splashes or drips.>neck for the socket isn't awful. Probably going to return it.

I really like this light for my little orange tree. I didn’t like the colored bulb so I switched it for a full spectrum white.

It works as advertised. Things to note is the base is thin wood. The light fixture arm is flimsy. If you can get past those things, it does provide a full spectrum plant light. If I had it to do over again, I'd make my own with better construction and an adjustable height.
