I waited a while before writing a review: We bought the mini educator for our Aussie pup in August'24 that was nipping and grabbing our arms and legs no matter what I did (we did) he continued literlly making us bleed with his extra sharp teeth. (esp. when he had quick crazy spirts of energy come out of now where) Bought this as a recommendation from our daughter (who gave her lab freedom to run using this) and it works like a charm for both of us! Our Aussie is smart and learned quickly that the vibration is all he needed to stop. He is turning a year old and all we've had to do is show him the device and he backs off. He's a fantastic dog!!. He's calming down nicely without needing to use the educator much at all, (he's maturing beautifully.) but having the collar on at night when he wants to go out, has been a blessing so we can see where he is on our farm. It's been the best investment! I've raised big and med. dogs before be he was very dominate and my arms were full of scars. I am sure this can be a life saver for frustrated families and I'm sure it will save some dogs from being brought to a shelter. Every dog can be trained but some dogs just need a mini educator for a little while to bring some skin protection to the unsuspecting owners. :). This collar holds his dog tag and he sits patiently to get his collar on. This comes highly recommened. Our dog is now 67lbs. and he was around 30lbs when we began using it. ( I wrote an update that the shock didn't work and was going to call the company but it IS working correctly. I really like this product and am not sure what happened in the few hours it didn't work)

I have an 8 yr old dog that we adopted from the shelter. He always had a number of annoying issues that we could tolerate in the past. But after moving to new house these issues started to get much worse very fast for some reason. I spent a lot of time on YouTube learning how to train and fix these issues. Joined subscription based online dog training. After about 1-2 months, I did manage to fix most issues using positive only counter conditioning methods and some small changes in the way we managed him. I managed to fix most of the issues like barking at door bells, door knocks, garage door opening, jumping on visitors, barking on leaSh at people on walks, barking when family members talk a little loudly at each other in the house etc. However there were still two issues what I could not fix using positive only methods. These were : 1. fence fighting as we shared backyard fence with 4 other neighbors. 2. Barking & lunging on leash at other dogs on walks (although he was fine with humans now) I thought very hard about using an eCollar on my pet. It was either this, put up with my dogs bad behavior and risk neighbors complaining for his fence fighting or return him to the shelter to be someone else's problem. I decided to purchase this eCollar as a last try and I couldn't be happier with it. Fence fighting was fixed in a few days using only level 6 to 9 and some very good timing. Before the eCollar when he started going beserk, I had to go out to the backyard in the night with a leash, try to chase down my dog, put a leash or carry him indoors. Aggression at other dogs on outdoor walks is now reduced significantly but I have only had the collar for about 2-3 weeks. I am also using the eCollar for improving the heel and recall outdoors. Adding the eCollar for his heel only needs a working stim level 2 outdoors and I can get him to walk right by my knees with occasional ecollar pressure at level 2. As an indication, when I put the collar on my own body, I only barely start to feel the stim at a level 8. It is more of a feedback to my dog that he is going out of the heel zone and needs to come back in. Certainly not a punishment at all. For recall outdoors on a long leash I work mostly under level 10 to get his attention for him to come back when he is really distracted. It took me a long time to arrive at a decision to purchase the eCollar but I am now fully convinced I made the right choice. I took my time to learn how to use it properly first. After using it for about 2-3 weeks, I did not break the bond I have with my best friend, we are still good pals. In fact it think it made our bond stronger as he is a lot more in tune with me where he used to turn a deaf ear in the past. I find he is learning to leave the walks up to me and he just needs to follow that's all. I now think there is hope my dog can go off-leash maybe in a month or two. As soon as there is no aggression at other dogs, and his heel and recall is full proof with heavy distractions, I will take him off leash but with just the eCollar for safety. If you are like me, struggling with dog issues and are thinking of returning your dog to the shelter, DON'T. Give this a try. I strongly recommend you first take the time to learn how to use it responsibly on our best friends. There are a lot of good quality free videos available on YouTube. As for the product quality, while a bit pricey, I found to be very good quality. I did not have any battery issues as mentioned by others. Battery last about 2-3 days before I have to charge it. Also did not have any issues with inconsistent stimulation levels mentioned by others. But I do ensure I fit it snugly on my dog every time. As I said, take the time to learn how to use it properly to get the best use of it and to treat your dog humanely and respectfully.

I’ve been really impressed with the Educator ET-300 Mini. The remote is easy to use, and I really like having separate controls for the different training functions. The stimulation levels are adjustable, so you can use a much lower setting when needed instead of just having one strong correction. The range has been more than enough for training outdoors, and the collar has stayed secure while my dog is moving around. I also like that it’s waterproof, since I don’t have to worry about it getting wet during outdoor training. The mini size is a big plus too. It doesn’t feel overly bulky on my dog, and the remote is small enough that I can carry it around without it being a hassle. Overall, this has been a very useful training tool and feels like a well-built product. I especially like the adjustability and range. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality e-collar for consistent training.

i absolutely love this ecollar, completely worth the price. dosent hurt at all! feels like a tens unit my dogs know when i grab it its time to go outside and play. definitely recommend, BUY THIS INSTEAD OF A CHEAP 30$ IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR DOG SAFE

I bought this for my dog who is now eating food off the counter. She never did this before and we needed something to stop it immediately. This E collar came in a nice box and it was easy to see all the items in the box with instructions on how to use the E collar. It was easy to charge and a very basic set up. They give you plenty of strap so it fits any size of dog that you may have. Once I got the E collar to the size that I needed it was easy to cut off the remaining strap that wasn't getting used. The remote control is easy to use. The numbers on the digital remote are easy to read and are clear. I like that it had a "test" button to ensure that it was working and its a gentle reminder for your dog. I also like on the remote that the vibration that you give your dog when using it the correct way has an additional button that goes up a few dials if the lower setting it's quit getting their attention. The prongs on the E collar are good. I have a smaller lab, she is 48 pounds and not thick hair. I did try and lengthen the prongs but that was too long for her neck. The 1/2 mile range is nice but not a feature that I needed but I was able to step outside my house and watch my dog and the remote still worked. Over all this is a great product. I am not a fan of the price but it does work for what is needed for my dog to correct the behavior that I needed to stop. The E collar, remote and charger are all quality material. They come with extra prongs and a tester to ensure that the shock is going to the dog without putting the E collar on yourself.

Absolutely amazing! This E-Collar is worth every penny, the proof is in the results. As I've literally bought so many over the years, and I'd rather invest in this brand vs. buy several cheap ineffective collars that cannot even solve my dogs behavior issues as they end up either not being strong enough or they rile up the dog (raise cortisol levels vs. lower). Pros: It's battery is absolutely amazing, it's waterproof (no need to worry if your pup jumps in the river for a dip), strong enough for most pups but does go higher if needed, has light functions and tracker, it also has amazing hypactic feedback and doesn't lag, can use pavaloni tone or tapping, not too bulky in size, but effective for off-leash drills or trips to the park. Best E-Collar I've tried and I have tried so many of them. This E-Collar is definitely worth every penny, it's easy to use, durable, and functional.

I waited a while before writing this review. I have a dog that is reactive to delivery men coming into our yard to deliver packages. Before this point, we had been using a cheap ecollar and even consulted a behaviorist. Seeing the behaviorist ended up making his behavior worse after about a year. We were at the end of our rope with his escalations, when we finally decided to try the mini educator. I started researching online for the best way to ecollar train, and came across The Art of Training Your Dog: The Guide To Gentle Ecollar Training by Marc Goldberg and The Monks of New Skete. Their training guide, along with the mini educator gave me a brand new dog. The amazon guy can now deliver packages and I can get my dog to immediately go to place. We can now go on walks without him lunging at other dogs, and he’s even less reactive in our yard, and other dogs can walk by with my dog not attached to me and dragging a long line. All I have to do when the other dogs walk by is call my dog to me, and have him focus on me. It’s a complete 180 degree turn from where he was. For people who aren’t familiar with ecollar training, the ecollar is used as a signal at the same time you give commands. It gives the dog the same sensation as being tapped on the shoulder, and if they don’t listen the first time, as you go up on the levels, the tap on the shoulder becomes more insistent. It is NOT painful unlike cheaper ecollars. The Mini Educator is basically a mobile tens unit. It is 100 percent humane and should always be used at the lowest level that is effective in any given situation. My dog is nervous by nature, but has NO anxiety whatsoever when training at a low level with The Mini Educator. The key is to use it as a signal that a command is being given and NOT correct for every single bad thing your dog does when he doesn’t know what is asked of him. Also keep in mind, your dog must have a solid foundation on basic obedience before starting an ecollar. Otherwise, he won’t know what is being asked of him. In other words, I highly recommend this product as an option for nearly all dogs.

I am disappointed. Bought the Mini Educator 300 from them and it failed after only a month of regular use. The last time I recharged it the collar unit got so hot it was too hot to touch. I was able to use it after it cooled but afterward it would bo longer charge. Most responsible retailers would simply exchange a product that failed in the 1st month of use and work out the warranty with the manufacturer themselves. If I bought a TV or appliance from Best Buy and it failed in a month they would simply replace it not refer me to the manufacturer. This was not an inexpensive piece of equipment for what it is and should not be giving me problems this early on. This failure is causing disruption in an already challenging dog training effort. They did offer a refund as an "exception" but I would have to get a return label, ship it back, wait for refund and order another. Meanwhile my dog's training needs to be stopped or modified. & who knows how long this process can take. I don't need a refund. What I need is a replacement so I can continue training my dog without regression. I was able to reach the manufacturer who were also not helpful. I called from work and they said I needed to have te unit in my possession so we can "troubleshoot" by phone. Now I wasted another day and have to take it to work with me. What's to troubleshoot? It stopped working in a month and no longer works. It this thing was under $50 I could understand premature failure and poor customer service but for $200 I expect more.

Did not work right and not everything was there. When I tried to message them they wouldn't message me back. I ended up going to the actual company and they replaced it.
