Very fine dust mixed with granules, dust can blow back onto you, it stinks awful.

It smells, so you know its good! It's meant to be pungent. Great product however difficult to pour out. Not sure how that could be improved perhaps add a pouring flap.

My sunflowers were getting annihilated every night by snails in particular and slugs to the point I had to plant some more to replace them!I bought these as I had 2 of my original plants left that had been munched at, but were worth saving. I also needed something pet friendly as we have lots of cats who visit and one of our own.I put on some nitrile gloves before gently placing them round the plant stalks and watered them in as instructed. The instructions are very easy to follow. Not particularly aesthetically pleasing, but worth an go given the price!Next day, there were snail/slug trails on the pellets but only at the edge. The sunflowers remained untouched!Several days later and I’m pleased to say they are doing amazingly well at keeping the slimy little monsters away from my plants!Now I can re-pot my younger sunflowers in confidence! (A little tip here - for young plants I’ve popped them on my outdoor table to make it more difficult for the little beggars to get up to them!)Conclusion - very good value for money and they work! What more can you possibly ask for? Thanks Amazon Prime!

Just what I needed when planting some new blackcurrant bushes. Added a handful into the bottom of the planting hole and forked it in before planting the bush.I was amused to be asked about the "scent" when writing this review, but then remembered my dog digging up an entire row of freshly planted strawberries, because he was trying to find the "bones" he could smell under the ground.

This bone meal is great for the garden..A must!!

Needed now for planting. The box was very dusty with a date of 2023 on it and though I’ve used bonemeal (Doff) for years, this version smelt so much worse than any I’ve previously used. My hands stink after just picking up the (unopened) box.

Just a box of Bone Meal. Can't get excited about that.

Arrived quickly and easy to dispense. My shrubs will all benefit from it.
