Update:I'm very happy to update that the brand reached out and was extremely apologetic about the experience I had. They assured me that their newer blankets are made with a better material and they sent me a new blanket free of charge to try out. We have had it for a few weeks and it looks great, very happy with this new product! Definitely will recommend now.Original Review:We've had our Nuzzie for about 9 months now, and a few months in we noticed it starting to pill quite significantly and look dingy. On top of this, the fabric is really slippery and the blanket slides off the bed in one direction or the other in the middle of the night and makes it annoying to sleep with. I really wanted to love this blanket because it's nice and soft, but unfortunately it is a huge bummer to spend $300 + on a blanket and have it start to look terrible within a matter of months.I wrote to the company about this and their only suggestion was to use a de-piller on the pilled areas (which is kind of a joke because it's most of the blanket). Sadly this doesn't work very well because of all the crevices and the softness of the stuffing inside the blanket. They had no other suggestions nor were they willing to take any feedback about the quality of the blanket. Our friends have a similar weighted blanket from Bearaby and that has lasted MUCH better than this - definitely do yourself a favor and buy that one instead of this. I feel duped by all of the positive reviews on here and definitely regret this purchase.

Blanket is solid; got sent the wrong color I ordered the dark grey and got light grey. Not worth the hassle to repack a 20 pound blanket just for a color change product is solid.

I tried this blanket because I really wanted a weighted blanket that didn’t make me sweat to death at night with hormone fluctuations and this blanket is everything it advertised! I bought a second one that is throw smaller (throw blanket size) to take on trips when possible. Love it!

This is a good product with a couple of significant problems...The queen size will not fit into the washer. They were not clear about this. They say it's washable, but you will need to have it cleaned (on their time) or find a laundromat with an oversized washer and dryer and then spend your valuable time there.It pills faster than you can get it cleaned. It pills without being washed. It pills when sleeping with a sheet between you and it. It pills, it pills, it pills.It's MUCH smaller than expected, and all the other reviews that show it curling at the edges are very accurate. They curl so much that it reduces the size drastically.The weight is perfect.It's not too hot; the open weave lets the heat escape. I have used it with and without a sheet between me and it. I've only used it without a sheet a couple of times. We have heated cement floors, and there were a couple of really cold days when the heat was on too long, and it was hot in the bedroom. I had no issues sleeping with the open holes. I am curious about the warmer summer nights... Will it be too warm then?I am being generous by giving this a 3-star review. I'll admit that I like it, but I had no clue it would pill the way it does, and I am upset by the fact that I will need to get it cleaned.

I got the 25 pounder but was too heavy for my wife. Lol. So we returned it easily and grabbed a 15 pounder! Like it more than I thought!

We’ve only had this for two months and it is pilling really bad. The weave is very loose so the whole thing is very stretchy. The material is cheaper than other brands unlike Silk and Snow. We bought the King size as we were hoping this could replace the previous weighted blanket we had….but alas, the quality is just not there. Go with a different brand if you want quality, hard pass on this

It smells funny, and the smell won't go away just by airing it out. It also arrived wrinkled, despite the perfect looking pictures in the ad.

Love the weight of it but material pills after only using it a few times
