Pretty Consistent product
stones are a natural product that have a degree in variation to them but I was pleasantly surprised at just how consistent the quality of these were! all are generally within the 2-3” size as advertised, and generally the same grey tone. I especially like the texture of these as they are not too smooth/shiny so paint will adhere nicely. The shapes vary from round to tapered but all are relatively flat which is perfect.I purchased two bags and was concerned when the box first arrived. The bags they come in are VERY small! Despite that they all arrived without damage and were packaged well.I also like that these come in a set of 16. So many other packs of river rocks are giant bags of 60-100+ and we just don’t need that many!!! Overall I am pleased with this purchase and will order again.

Perfect sizing!
I bought this to write messages for my late husband. I like the size of them. Not too big and not too small.

Just what I was looking for
I needed smooth rocks to paint for a camping trip and these work well. I painted one already and it turned out fine. The rocks are just the right size and smooth. Can't wait to go camping with my niece and nephew!

love them. These are perfect for painting, I’m making alphabet rocks for my kids and they are so smooth and perfect size for not swallowing danger but still small enough for little hands. The only thing is they are dark and it takes a couple of hands of paint for the paint to stand out. But it also pops against the dark once it gets there so not bad.

Smaller than stated
I ordered the 3-4" rocks. They aren't even close to that size. Most were about 2-ish inches. The few I received that were almost 3" long were only about an inch or so tall. Other than that, the rocks are great. Nice and smooth and easy to paint. I would have give 5 stars if they were the size listed in the ad and on the bag.
