Antler King Hi Protein Big Buck Block

When the package arrived and the item was unwrapped, it was already starting to fall apart at the edges. Not the end of the world but made a bit of a mess, so make sure you unwrap it away from the kitchen table. So far, all of Santa's reindeer have said that it isn't all that good, but that is what you get when a bunch of actors taste-test a product not really meant for them. They couldn't taste much of the apple - so it is more of a "hint" of apple, really. Paired with a nice crisp white wine and this could be palatable, but most of my reindeer stick to beer and the hard stuff.

I've been using these the past couple years. I see some reviewers have had no luck. I have had grea luck with these. I'm guessing it could just have to do with where your located and what the deer mainly eat in your area. I hunt in Blanco Texas. I can put one of these out and in a few weeks it's gone. My camera shows deer just tearing it up. It's worth a try. If it doesn't work then for sure try something else.

Hard to find these that the animals actually use. We have very little minerals and protein in the area I live.

I put this block in an area that is slightly dipped/recessed, and hold about 1/2 inch water if it rains really hard (but the soil drains fairly well, so it doesn't hold water long). The site is great for a salt block or mineral block. This block didn't hold together more than 1 week and after that, it started stinking like a dead animal. If this block was on a slope or under some type of shelter (preventing rain from hitting it), it may be OK. Otherwise, it is not much.

Fast shipping block stays together in the weather. Deer flock to it and are working their way thru the block. Great value

Deer love it, so it's really the deer are awarding the 5 stars. I learned about these a couple of years ago, and purchased them because they were highly rated by a number of people. I buy a couple of the blocks at a time because they devour them rather quickly. I have happy deer visiting my home!

i have this on the ground the very next morning i had 5 deer all over it i watch them for 45 mnts every time they try to leave they just turn around and come back licking it they couldnt help it, i have it now for 10 days rained 3 times and still standing like a rock

In the weeks it has been in my yard the deer have hardly touched it. A little the first night but that's all.
