Arrived badly printed
My daughter is a massive David Walliams fan and couldn’t wait to read his new book having recently finished the second part of Gangsta Granny’s adventures but she has been left disappointed as the book arrived badly printed and folded making it unreadable.

Son can’t stop reading!
This is the first book my 9 year old has ever wanted to read without me. A few days in and he takes himself off for half an hour.He says it’s the best book everI must add that the quality of the print is really poor, the cover was ripped and covered in ink and some pages are creased.Amazon actually refunded so we bought another copy elsewhere as one was for my son, another as a gift. I wonder if they were given a bad batch cheap?

Not happy with pages as some have a crease all the way through
As you can see in the pictures there are creases through the pages as this is supposed to be a new book. I am really disappionted at the quality of the pages

Thank goodness for illustrators!
Let's start with the actual book. Super heavy - how on earth do young children carry it around, a wheelbarrow comes to mind? Anyhow, quality and finish, not bad for the price.Insde the book, my goodness ten pages later and finally the first story starts. Sorry David, but whilst the stories are fun, its the illustrator that gets the credit, and without his dainty doodlings, the stories themselves would only be around 8 pages long each! How do children with dyslexia or special needs cope with the text. I mean, it's all over the place? Would you not consider a second publication with child-friendly text? I am sure children with all abilities would appreciate them more?To the marking team behind the famous face, they pump thousands into marketing these books, great, how about considering other authors, the ones who are not known and have to work super hard to scrape a living and do not shamelessly self-promote the need to want to become the next Nobel prize for literature, really??
