I am finding the reviews on this item very odd. This camera isn't configurable to watch a specfied area. Ceiling and wall mount both give bizarre camera angles. To make the standard sweep area of camera usable you would need to customize a mount that allows adjustment similar to a car door mirror. You can rotate it a possible three options once screws are installed to mount to a wall or ceiling. Getting the sweep horizon straight isn't straight forward at all. Transmitted image is prone to stalling over WiFi. While watching the sweep in WiFi you must first determine if you are watching a loop of display. This thing came packaged very well. Set up wasn't overly difficult. The QR image could be a little more handy in size and more space between iPhone and Android. If it were me I would find a different option for your needs.

Update!The seller of this camera (Happy Tao) really came through. Though the most recent firmware update does cripple the ability to use the web interface they worked it out by providing the previous firmware update that included that functionality and also provided a method to restore that firmware version on all the cameras I purchased. They were very helpful and responsive to my issue.I bought one of the 1.3MP and 3 of the 3MP and can't see a noticable resolution difference between them. The resolution is good enough though for my application. My biggest gripe is that with the most recent firmware upgrade you can no longer access the camera through a web browser. I'm now looking for 3 new cameras. I do like this 360 VR format though so if anyone has any suggestions for sub hundred dollar cameras please let me know.

I bought 2 of these cameras and after 1 month they started to not work properly, they keep disconnecting from the network and going affordable with the message in the middle of the night waking everyone, including kids. Tried to return it but it was too late, I guess is it calculated the return time ah.

When the unit loses power it has to be setup all over again. When it is working, it works quite well.

It works but the camera always spins and even if you have it set on to detect motion its always recording. The reviews for this camera were very mixed so i wasnt sure what to expect. I wouldn't recommend this camera to anyone

Very poor camera, not user friendly. I will advise that Amazon quality assurance team do a review on this product. I honestly regret purchasing one as I have to just uninstall and dump somewhere in my store
