I am a woman in my late seventies and I have a large peace of property with lots of trees and bushes. I cannot afford to hire a person to do the work for me so I decided to order this small chain saw (I am afraid of the large ones and besides they are to heavy for me to handle. I love this chain saw along with another one I ordered. They cut just as well as a large one and are much lighter to handle. I have been working every day since I purchased these and am getting so much done. Now I need to use my mini chain saw with a pole to get to my very large trees. I love these so much and not afraid to use them. The only downside is that they do not stay charged long enough to work longer. That's why I ordered a couple of these to work with so I can be charging one and using the other. And the price is awesome for these.

I have no idea what this saw is like on larger trees, but I had a palm tree dumb fronds all over my yard. I was using a hacksaw to saw them up and it was taking me days. I just got this cordless saw today and I tackled the 4 foot hight, 6 feet long pile of fronds in about 45 minutes. It was amazing. Now I'm sore and ready for bed, but I'm happy. It will prune my maple tree next. Even if it gave out every year and I had to spend $39 each year, it's easier than paying someone $600 to prune all of the trees in my backyard every year plus it's fun to do.

It worked perfectly for a few weeks with some average use, but then it just did not work. During the time it was working, I would give it a "5." Battery life was really good (about half an hour with steady use).and it cut right through 5'-6" branches with ease. The price was right.Note that, unlike many other choices, this only had one battery instead of two. It wasn't a problem for me because it was enough time to get what I planned to do for the day. Of course, the one-battery kits are cheaper.. I was only looking for something for occasional use and it was way cheaper than the two-battery kits. I just recharged the battery and it was good to go the next day.I had to return the mini-chainsaw battery kit because the saw stopped working. It was easy contacting Amazon and there was an offfer for a refund or to ship the same item at no extra cost. I selected receiving a new mini-saw. Amazon sent a replacement right away and I will be getting it with just a few days' wait, Amazon required you to return the damaged item through a UPS office. When I tried to return it, UPS said that there were certain restrictions and I needed to get a special label to mail back the item to Amazon. When I contacted Amazon customer service through chat, I was told just to keep the item and that I did not have to return it. I was also sent a confirmation email that said that I did not have to make a return and I could keep the set, dispose of it, or give it away. I think that it was a smart Amazon policy because it would have been more costly to ship the item back with the special provisions than what the item was worth. All in all, with a little inconvenience I will receive a replacement and although the saw itself is not working, I have an extra case, extra battery, extra charger, 2 extra chainsaw blades, etc.Although not a big problem, I had earlier purchased a 4-inch mini-chainsaw kit from another brand and that saw had a little better feel when using it over a period of timeLooking forward to receiving the replacement.

The Saul works pretty well on this size limbs that I just finished cutting in my front yard. Don’t expect to settle saw to cut as smoothly as a traditional chainsaw but it does do a good job. It’s practical and easy to use love the two battery options with this tool, once again, think of the this tool is a practical use, instead of using a traditional saw that we would recommend

I needed a small lite chainsaw that would work on small branches and bushes to tame down a green space adjacent to my property. This did an excellent job and was easy to operate and figure out how to take apart and reassemble. I have hand mobility issues and the weight was great and while some things that require a two finger safety release are not always easy to work, this one was, while still perfectly safe. I was also very pleased with it's ability to cut bigger stumps down. It did the job as well as I would have expected from one at twice the price point.

The main reason I purchased this tool is to cut the fronds off a pineapple palm tree. So far I have been successful. One feature I wish was different is the safety switch. I wish it could be pushed from either side like another tool I have. Due to the way the motor sticks out I need to cut from a different position and use my left hand.

I wish I had known about this mini chain saw a long time ago. I feel empowered because I can't cut branches and trunks with loppers or hand saw. I have wrist arthritis, so I have to be careful I don't injure them. I've used it to cut 2 to 2.5 b banches . Cuts like a hot knife through butter. So far I am very happy.

I am too nervous to handle a chainsaw, but needed to cut down some trees and this worked great! It is small enough that I can handle, but cut down a pretty decent sized tree. Now if you’re cutting larger trees, it won’t work, but worked great for what I needed.
