Low cost but high style
I love this clock the installation was fairly simple and the results are beautiful. I've gotten many complements from all of the people that have seen it.Here are a few tricks that I used to get the install perfect:1.Tape the number placement template (it's a square piece of paper with twelve angled lines to show the angles to place your numbers) to the center piece of the clock so as you move your ruler around the circle the paper doesn't move with it.2. Punch a hole in the base of your paper ruler so you can line up the angled lines from the number placement template and those of your ruler. Apparently the maker of this clock thinks we can see through cardboard, sigh.3. Use a pencil to mark the your wall for the number placement so you can easily erase the marks after the numbers are up.4. Pay close attention to the numbers as there is a slight curve at the bottom and the top of each number to enhance the circular look of the clock. This curve is very helpful to determine the configuration of the IX and the XI otherwise either way your turn it would be correct.Update5. Some of these have started to fall off of the wall. I'm going to get some double sided tape to secure them more thoroughly.

Roman Numerals- BLACK= ELEGANCE. Conversation starter...
This clock is AMAZING!!! Easy to assemble ( not by the directions), but if you’re a DIY’er, you’ll find your on technique that works. I actually measured the middle of the wall, found my center and placed the dial there. Placed the clock pattern on top of the dial to show where the numbers should be, and accuracy of the hands while turning. I took a measuring tape to that point and placed a penciled dot there to mark where the numbers are to go. Did that 12 times... and this is the RESULT!! BEAUTIFUL CONVERSATION PIECE! Assembled by a 5”1 lady only!!The pieces stick soooo goood that it took my paint off when trying to move over!!! So be careful! GREAT adhesive! Place, rub. and let cure.MUST KNOW :::: I couldn’t get the clock to TICK after assembly, RE-read directions.... and it ONLY uses a COPPER BATTERY!!!!!!!!!!!! No ENERGIZERS!USE A DURACELL BATTERY!!! Directions says a copper battery. Had a Duracell as well... and it TICKED TOCKED FOR WEEKS! ( many people probably have returned thinking click was broken, but didn’t read ALL directions!!!!Enjoy!

Looks beautiful but the clock is no good
Looks beautiful and esthetic but it does not perform well. I put it in my living room, first few minutes was ok, then it was left behind (3minutes late). Today as I come back from work, I notice it is 10 minutes difference. I keep adjusting it manually, yet it is left behind. Wish I had known this before

Keeps time and hands fit existing numbers on wall
Our original clock mechanism stopped working, so first I bought an identical mechanism to use with our existing hands and numbers on the wall. The replacement mechanism was missing a part. FAIL.Then I bought another full wall clock set to try that mechanism with the existing numbers on our wall. That mechanism didn't keep time, and the hands lengths were too long--much longer than what was indicated on the product page. FAIL.I wanted just the mechanism or the mechanism plus clock hands of the correct length, but we couldn't find one that reviewers recommended. This Fashion in the City full set was my third try to get a working clock mechanism for the numbers that were already on our wall. This mechanism keeps time! The hands fit! SUCCESS!There were two minor problems to set it up. The minute hand hole is tiny and was REALLY hard to snap onto the shaft. I almost sent it back before it finally clicked. Then I had to straighten out the bent minute hand from pushing so hard. It's probably the tight fit that makes the time so accurate. The other issue was the hanging hole on the face behind the hands. When hanging from a nail, it didn't stay put, so the hands were swinging the face back and forth. I wish the hanger was instead a triangle hook on the back of the mechanism.

20 dollars for plastic, plus it’s not evenly cut. The minute hand of the dial does not work well. If you loosen the screw, the arrow falls; if you tighten it more, it does not move. and what to do? but the design itself is not bad.

It's a nice addition to your decor
Nice item. Still working and only changed the batteries once.
