Does it really support wierd headphones as stated on the third picture down under product description? How wierd do they have to be?

I'm a little confused. does this work on a usb cable alone or usb cable plus aux cable?

Power is via USB, sound and microphone are via aux. The speaker and microphone use separate aux cords, so you have use the speaker without the microphone.
