Not 20cm when closed
This is a nice tin - but it isn't 20cm.When the ring is loose, it measures 20cm.When the ring is closed, it reduces to 18cm - which is rubbish if you need a 20cm cake!

This is not really an 8" cake tin
The very outer diameter is just under 8" but the internal diameter (i.e. the size of the cake it produces) is about 7 1/4, making it completely incompatible with my existing tin. I should've read the reviews instead of buying in haste. Pic next to an actual 8" tin

Well made.
I bought two tins which are well made and sturdy with a strong clasp. The nonstick finish works a treat, the residue of the sponge washed away with hot soapy water. The base of the tin is a good fit.

Coating not great
The non stick covering is totally coming off more and more every time I use/clean this.

Not a 8inch tin
This is not an 8ich spring tin it’s more like 7inch as it’s smaller then my other 8ich tins, very disappointed.
