Excellent light bar for use under cabinets with a switched outlet. The memory function works as advertised, which is a necessary feature when plugged into a switched outlet, so when you turn off and on the light, the brightness setting is retained.The range of brightness is pretty good. I went with somewhere in the middle, as the light is capable of being fairly dim and very bright.The brackets that it comes with have a very strong 3M adhesive attached, but there are also pre-drilled holes if you want to use screws. The bar attaches to the brackets with magnets, and the bar itself weights very little.The power cable is USB, so it's easy to fit through a hole in your cabinets.The only thing I could knock it for is if you intend to use this with a non-switched outlet, meaning you will be using the power button to turn it on and off. When turned off, the power button glows blue, so if I were using this in a bedroom I would probably not want the blue light.

very nice light, if you need low light this is great,I did not want a bright light as I use it under the shelf in a roll top desk.

Magnets attach to ferrite based cabinets easily. Not shining in your eyes, when pointed down. Sliding dimmer not easy to master but works somewhat. Fine tuning a certain setting inside the reported range near impossible. But playing with it working near the switch end you can get some brighter and dimmer action. I like it, cooler than running the higher wattage dual overhead lamps. Worked for one year then died.

The light under my microwave that lit my stove literally blew up. I replaced the bulb first, but a fuse or something in the microwave must have blown because the new bulb didn't work. The magnets held this pretty well in about the same place as the light originally was. I opted to use the clips though because they don't slide around and the light did just a bit when turning it on and off. Definitely happy with my purchase.

At first, the light was able to switch between brightness levels. After only a week, the button stopped working and it’s stuck on all the time. After only a few months, it stopped working all together. Not worth the price or trouble. It is flimsy.
