I wore out the original remote and found this one that is almost the exact same one. It works great for all functions.

Does not work with NR636.
The remote works for power, volume, and switching sources, But the setup and home buttons do not work with the TN-NR636.

Not as advertised.
Unit is not preprogrammed as claimed, only works with Onkyo unit. You must still preprogram for tv or cable.Returned unit as it would not work as advertised. Also, the unit does not come with any instructions on how to program the remote for other units which are not Onkyo.
