Seems ok. We use socks in our Helicopter Operations Center landing areas. Will report back in 6 months as to fade and durability. Update: We get about a year more or less from these before needing to be replaced

Decent quality.
I have bought this exact unit from the same seller for the past 5 years for my private airstrip. I like the contrast of the orange and white more so than the straight orange - and this is a personal preference. I do not live in a particularly windy area, but the average lifespan of the sock is about 2 years. It is important to install correctly with the drain port in the right area (Bottom). Further, when attaching the wire ties, leave the top units long (Looks like eyelashes when finished) to act as a bird spike of sorts.

Looks well made.
It seems to be very good quality and hopefully will last longer than the previous brands that only lasted about a year before being totally deteriorated.

Nice windsock
Nice wind sock - this is the second one that I have purchased from this manufacturer. The only complaint that I have is after 18 months the orange faded really bad.

The white turns yellow!!!
Both the wind socks have been up about 60 days in the white has turned very very yellow. I’m very unhappy with the color.

Does the job
Have bought the same windsock from this company since 2016. Does the job. The orange and white does well to measure wind speed from altitude. Have never had discoloring as another review states. Lasts about 18 months in the Texas sun, before sun rot, like most fabrics.
