An unexpected joyride
Here is my take on this book.1. Happy it didn't turn out to be a durjoy Dutta/chetan bhagat stereotype to begin with (though at the start I had a feeling it might..no offence😜)2. If I had to describe the writing in geek language i would say that its like an ideal Newtonian fluid I.e. viscosity of the flow of the words is 0). Simple presentation. Straightforward. Very lucid and Not at all draggy.3. Great topic must say. Combining psychology and theoretical physics into a single blob, must have taken a huge toll on the author's brain and not to mention the background research. But the end product was substantial and believable. Thus confirming the validity of M-theory as the theory of everything in its own way.Good to see that it even touched the multiverse and the brane collision theory.👍4. Finally the way the author explained the psychological side of the story.. Its pretty dramatic .5. I wasn't even able to put it down except for going to toilet. So that explains the grasping capacity of The book.Lastly, proud to have read it especially at a bargain of 150 bucks. 😁😁😁😁😁Two more points :1. I'm a physics crazy person and so is Rakshit, so that explains why He is my favorite character.2. The author could have elaborated a little more about Dev's childhood issues. All in all, its a tremendous thriller. Grab your copy ASAP.Kudos and all the best Mr. ABC...and yes...there is nothing uDo that is better than writing...!!👍

Get Ready for dreams about reality
I am not a novel lover but I bought this one for the unique tittle it has and I am happy that I purchased it. From the first page to the last, the book keeps you engrossed in thoughts about present past and future. It opens your mind and lets you imagine the possibilities. It indeed is a real roller coaster of emotions, psychological stuff and science. Can call it a science fiction novel but I would rather prefer to call it a fictional thriller which will put your grey cells to work. All in all it was worth a read. A fabulous blend of reality and imagination. Loved it. Great work AB Chakravorty. All the Best!

A must READ!!
A crisp, impressive and sitting-on-the-edge story; Split Second is a must to read. It includes wonderful characterizations and an engaging track. Though, at times I found myself somewhere between the red and the green world - Split Second represents a strong-headed personification. Know the real world through, Dev, Mahi and Rakshit. I strongly recommend you to add this book in your collection.

Split Second - Review
Set in modern day Bangalore (the setting could have been anywhere and it still would have worked) ’Split Second’ is a story of an advertising newbie who experiences the strangest of things in life and uses logic and a creative mind to figure things out. There are plenty of twists in the story that would put the best roller coasters to shame, but some of those twists aren’t properly explored. There’s enough material in the story to make it a really engaging novel or maybe even a feature film, but unfortunately the writer hasn’t gone all out.The characters are engaging, interesting and one can clearly relate to every single one of them. The plot has an interesting hook that could easily catch a big fish but settles for a smaller one. The writer could have explored the turmoil that he experiences a bit more in simple language, but in turn explains and settles the dispute with a lot of Physics and Psychiatry.‘Split Second’ is one of those novels that you would easily find at a book store in the airport and would surely catch your eye with its cover design and would want to make you pick it up and read it in one shot. One can easily finish the book in a single reading as well. Perfect for a couple of hours flight and then ponder over it while waiting for your luggage. The relatable characters, the setting and an in-depth understanding of Psychiatry makes me rate this book a 3 out of 5.
